For future reference for use with other mods: From the title screen, press Workshop, press manage mods, press the question mark symbol on a mod that is "More Info", then press the "Homepage" button at the bottom of the screen. Do let me know if the link cannot be found there, as it may be something I need to bring to the tmod team's attention as a bug.

@Sabana I'm not certain what you mean. All the crops in the mod outside of trees and trellises don't have hitboxes and use the same logic as alchemy plants. So you can break them with weapons when they are not planted on planter boxes or clay pots. I'm assuming you mean the crops, because I haven't added any flowers. Unless you count vanilla flowers.

hi so you know how like, flowers take up space and have hitboxes, can you not do that? i can't place blocks on them and i can't do chests and stuff, or at least make it weapon breakable, its your mod and i am here to give some badly written, probably not good criticism

Thanks! didnt know the crops could be plant on Planter Boxes, sure it will be better, i can even create a Green-house then, hope you create the Drain Rate config, im actually playing with only the Constant Seed for starvation, i couldn't handle the rate of the mod :((.

@Karenpresci Crops planted on dirt use the same logic as alchemy seeds, you can plant them on Planter Boxes to avoid this premature destruction. I'll consider getting bottles and dishes back when consuming food, it's a good idea. I will also add rebalancing the food/thirst drain rate to my to do list. Thanks for the feedback.

I think the drain rate of Food/Trhist is too fast, the Constant secret seed uses the Food bonus as the timer, and even when you "hungry" you still have 5 minutes to eat.
But in the mod the Drain rate of Food and Water is TOO much fast, i feel overwhelmed by the need of eating/drink everytime, please consider lower its rate, or add a config to change the drain rate.

Just to ADD to my comment, everything that use something like Bowl / Bottle / Plate as a recipient/placeable are things that we use to eat/drink in, and it should come back after eating/drinking.
I also think the Vanilla potions should give us back the bottle but, that's another mod for it.

I'm playing with it for the first time, i love cooking in games so loved the mod, so i want to say 2 things that bother me:

First - planted seed Crops should have the Tree Saplings protection, when you plant it and its growing, you cannot hit/destroy by mistake, like when monsters are roaming and i'm using a Boomerang (my case right now) if the boomerang hit the seeds, he destroy it and so i lost the seeds. Crops should have the sapling protection, so you only break it when Fully Grow.

Second - Water Bottle, when using the Bottle and fill it up with water to create the water bottle, i thought i would receive a bottle back after drinking, but not.
We should receive a bottle back as we are only drinking water, creating endless bottle to fill it up with water will be bothersome, specially when we are Drinking water only, the bottle shouldn't disappear.

Are there any patches for this that makes it so when you use the Water Bottles to drink it gives back an empty bottle? Tried pairing it with Reusable Bottles but didn't work

Hi, in multiplayer, when you place one of the items that has an interface, it causes a lot of data to be transferred nonstop, even if you take down the items. The only way to stop that is by reloading the server. I've been hosting a game for my friend and I, so when my friend started getting lots of desync, he checked the multiplayer debug menu (F8 ingame) and noticed that this mod was sending massive amounts of data that never stopped. So he did his best Sherlock impression, testing each mod on a new world, and narrowed it down to this mod. We're both sad because we were really enjoying your mod! This is exactly what we're looking for, so we're hoping this is a bug that can be fixed so we can continue enjoying it ^_^ I'm happy to send screenshots/more info if that would help, thanks! :p2cube:

Yoo this mod is great! I'm enjoying having a cute lil' basement for my cooking setup, and it's nice to make a bunch of food for my character to nom on.

I was wondering if you could set the base respawn hunger and thirst to something non-100%, like 50% or even 25% (maybe make it configurable)? I feel it defeats the purpose of worrying about starvation or thirst if I could just die during starving/dehydration and respawn with full stats.

@nobisyu thank you so much for getting back to me lmfao i appreciate it deeply. that being said its the trees that were there on world gen regrow after me and my friend load in i forgot to mention previously that i am playing with buddy so i don't know if this is a multiplayer bug specifically i just want to make sure i can give as much detail as possible :broflex: :lifehope:

@DEADLEAD When you say the trees reload upon world entry, do you mean the trees that were there on world gen regrow? Or are you finding new trees around the world that weren't there before as you explore?

@nobisyu i have encountered a bug where the trees keep reloading now an again or when i rejoin my world. it dose it over/in things i have built or just grass now i don't mind the free fruit but i feel it make it to easy and has lead to concerning amount of grapefruit and peaches, and as i was just sitting here cleaning up ad enjoying my peaches i was wondering if this is fixable on my end?

My review to this mod. This mod is very awesome. Thanks for creating a mod that makes terraria more realistic and immersive. I have had lots of fun with this mod and when i told my friends about this mod, they were excited to hear that there was a mod that made cooking useful.

still i think this mod lacks a few things. Of course i will list them:

configurability (pls let us configure how fast or slow we get hungry and thirsty)
compability (please make that with mods like more critters that they can drop some ingredients)
Cookbook (add a cookbook that tells how every ingredient is cooked made and obtained)

Thats actually all, i really like this mod and please think abt adding my suggestions.

@Vatheryl I know the issue you are speaking of, but unfortunately last I checked, there was an issue with tModLoader not being able to get it to work properly. I've asked the tmod team and they said that Staff of Regrowth compatibility is unavailable at this time. It is on my list of things I plan to fix however.

Thank you so much for such a fantastic mod! I have played tens of hours in multiple play-through styles. A suggestion:
Weapons both harvest and destroy plants. I build a nice big farm and then my crops are destroyed by an errant swing or arrow while killing mobs or just an accidental button press. This makes me sad. So, with that in mind, can you add a harvesting tool of some kind? Like a Hori-hori knife or just an upgrade for the sickle? It could harvest the full-grown plants, but leave the ones still growing. It could be auto-swing and function similar to a short sword. I can't remember if the Staff of Regrowth works in this manner, but even if it does, it's not super easy to find, and you don't start off with one on day one. If a new tool were simply sold by the Merchant, just like the sickle, that would be great. Or just make things only harvest-able by an empty hand? Maybe this is just a "me" problem, but I thought I'd voice my opinion. Thanks for listening!

very nice and lovely mod. It just has a problem with Terra Companions: the companions don't consume the food, so they end dying of thirst.

@Yumiko_Ishida Are you in multiplayer and using any other mods? The critters are mostly cooked on stove tops, not cooking pots.

Additionally, I'm trying to include a few more bug fixes in the update before I release the fix to luiafk compatibility.
