upon further tests, it seems the limit of moded planets is 6 in the wrold, one more and the textures start breaking

it is not the only one tho, a couple other of your planets and even planets from other creators have the same problem, but theirs usualy haven't been updated in years, komorebi hoewer isn't that old, i think the recent update might have broke something with workshop planets.

i think the mod is broken now, i spawned the planet and it doesn't look like it used to, it's all just default stone texture no grass no nothing, and the only vegetation is dead trees from earthlike

Epic world reminds me of Naussica of the Valley of the Wind, with the spore/fungi/toxic jungle. All it would need is an acid lake and then ya got that world lol. I have periodic texture issues, so I need to reinstall it once in a while, but hopefully if we can trouble shoot this and fix it can be a nice world on a multiplayer server.

For anyone working i can confirm this planet still works in 2025. Ore generates, wind and solar energy work as well, i tested this planet myself in an empty world. Theres alot of misunderstanding going on. Wind and solar will not show as generating power if there is nothing to use that power, i tested wind turbines and panels by placing them on the planet surface and then placing down a bunch of warfare batteries and went into the control panel and confirmed they were generating energy. Hope this helps anyone struggling.

Strange possible glitch, rain and clouds appear to be sideways. I'm also in the lush green areas and not finding anything except ice.

@Vas You can filter your mods on that screen by their steam tags, check the top row of icons.

Hi, and if I don't have any ore on all your planets, how can I fix it? I've traveled all over the planets with a detector and never found anything.

Small request, think you could add the word "Planet" to the start of the mod name so that it shows up in mod lists in game as "Planet Komorebi"? :P Makes it easier to see which mods are planets so I can simply type planet to add all at once.

I think I found the fungal forest with the blue grey mushrooms, but they have no collision, so I don't see how to get Gold out of them? The ore detector doesn't say gold though - what am I doing wrong?

The mushroom forest is the only other thing I've seen. No dunes or deserts or acid lakes or "lush" areas.

Where in the world are all these exotic looking locations from the screenshots? I've been circumnavigating the planet in freecam and have seen nothing but salt flats interspersed with the occasional few hundred meter stretch of slightly green terrain and a few trees.

The weather feels common enough, but it never really sticks around much, and I think it should last a bit longer.

yeah that's an issue I can't fix unfortunately. It happens only in multiplayer when there are too many trees/models. At some point some of them don't render anymore but still have collisions. Only thing I could do is remove a bunch of them, but then it would defeat the entire purpose of the planet.

Yeah, we started a server with this planet and looks like in certain biomes there are invisible objects that are destroyable like trees

you can make a local copy. copy \steamapps\workshop\content\244850\3309805284 into \AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Mods and in there in planet_komorebi.sbc change oxygendensity, breathable and surfacegravity. The mod will then show up as a local mod ingame, you have to select that one instead of the workshop version.

Given the lore from the description and a certain amount of morbid curiosity, are the ocean remnant salt flats low enough that the water mod could cover then with a reasonable depth without flooding the main land masses?

Occasionally when someone is hand mining on the planet, my server crashes due to an error thrown while drilling/bad voxels. Would love to send you error log if you'd like to see if we can find a fix, we love the planet!

acs relies on the mes framework, which does work on all modded planets. you might have to tweak settings in mes to get the spawn rates just right, especially on smaller planets like this one.

idk if this has been reported yet or not but when mining gold from the mushrooms in the Fungal Forest biome they dont give you any gold even when showing a gold marker from an ore detector inside of it and it doesnt let you mine it either it just sucks in your ship and starts freaking out as if its going crazy like its stuck in between blocks
