I believe if you had the latest version of RW and then downgrade from it to the legacy branch, it doesnt actually roll back properly all the files (which include the steam api dll file for some reason).
There isnt much to be done here sadly aside from a proper reinstall.
[ERR] Checksum error - file: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rain World\steam_api.dll" has mismatching hash. Expected: AD1A1BE2503DB073, Got: 36E73A1A0DF5A954
If this keeps happening I'll just end up removing the check straight up lol
Cheers

Your mod has served me well!
Instead of checking for a single checksum I'll just make it a collection of valid checksums to check against, should fix this problem. Fix will be up shortly.

^^ this was directly above not below but I assume is what you're looking for
In other news:
Seeing as there are quite many folk here that want this mod stay available as a workshop item due to various reasons, I can be convinced to leave it up for grabs :D
I'll change the description/title to reflect this a bit better soonish.
[i need to get spearmaster out of teh mast before i re-update the game again. :[
[Error : X64 World] The game assembly checksum check has failed, this can only be caused by a unknown game version [v1.9.15b].
(tysm for making the mod btw old versions aren't playable without)
Just wanted quickly chime in to mention one more thing: x64 World had a temporary storage folder that yall' might want to delete to save on disk space:
Windows: %APPDATA%\x64world
Linux: ~/.config/x64world
It contained the backups, patches, the patcher-tool, etc.
Anothing thing I wanted to mention: Library Loader and the former "x64 World Compat Patch"-style mods will continue to be supported (For now only Iterator TTS is finished and ready on the workshop, but Dreams -may- be updated aswell)
Cheers!
(insert chopper crying one piece meme)
And in case the watcher brings forth official x64 support: This mod will enter deprecation mode and disappear shortly after. (Library Loader and its companion mods will, however, continue to exist and be supported)
However, I can take a look at the LogOutput.txt from your game instance that experiences the issue you're describing, just make sure to re-create the issue and upload the logfile to pastebin or similiar and link it here.
Let me know if there's any files you'd need.
