As an example, if we named our fire rings class name the game calls to show it to you in its specific location "AoHFireRing" and someone else named theirs exactly the same, and you loaded it lower than ours in the load order, you would see their "AoHFireRing" instead of ours. Same can be said about any of our categories for our heraldry, if someone else has "AoHReligion" as a category, it would overwrite ours if loaded after (Though that specifically would change very little)

Otherwise, there should genuinely be no incompatibilities.

Sorry for the late response, I have this mod (among many other heraldry mods) working with pretty much every overhaul. Could you explain what you guys are doing? This should literally be compatible with everything that isn't named similarly in the naming schema.

It seems like it wont work with Agot

@牛奶大魔王

Yes, unless they name something the exact same thing we did, which would be strange.

a great mod, btw it work with other coa mod?
noreplyandrew 26 Aug, 2024 @ 11:48am
Thanks for your work
Love the weirwood, wasn't happy with the ones in AGOT.
Excel.exe 26 Aug, 2024 @ 1:30am
@JimmyG1970 Lol the third Image is literally a weirwood tree I'd be shocked if it wasn't compatible

@JimmyG1970 buddy, please just read the "compatibility" section of the description. Pretty please? It answers all you can ask.

@Silverwing96 And thank you for using it! Let us know if you have an requests.

For anyone using the mod, what is your current favorite emblem we have in the pack? Is there a piece that has an art direction you'd like to see more of?
Silverwing96 24 Aug, 2024 @ 11:24am
Thank you for this, always looking for new emblems

Silly Question is this mod compatible with AGOT?
Prophayne  [author] 23 Aug, 2024 @ 3:33pm
@jp7325184

I just want to clarify a few things with you before I give you my full opinion. As far as I am aware, you can already do that through bastard houses, cadet houses, and raising commoners to nobility in AGOT. You can also modify the names and coa of any character underneath you, meaning if you were king of the iron throne you could make the stark sigil a cute little cat playing with some yarn and change the name to cuddlekitten with the house words "Catnip or something".

You can also change the name of pretty much everything except the special buildings themselves, casterly rock for instance can be renamed to "That one big keep on the hill" through normal vanilla interactions. The only thing you couldn't change would be the special building named after casterly rock.

I have questions about a mod idea it would be similar to this but a lot further i just want an idea if it possible to do. it an extended Agot mod basically a mod that gives you a decision to make new landed houses with their own sigils and able to change name of holdings and Castles I'm just trying to find someone who might give advice or where to start
Prophayne  [author] 22 Aug, 2024 @ 1:24pm
A general rule I suppose would be, unless us and another COA asset designer names something the same (which we shouldnt have an issue with), it will work with everything.
Prophayne  [author] 22 Aug, 2024 @ 1:17pm
@Beorhthere Appleby

I did some testing across a game of thrones, better coa designer, and patrum scuta. There appears to be no incompatibility.
Sigmar 22 Aug, 2024 @ 11:04am
@alegdansk you can also sleep and have kids with the pope and then murder and eat him but you're worried about colours?
tezzica  [author] 21 Aug, 2024 @ 10:21pm
@beorhthere appleby

Thanks for asking! If those CoA mods make any major adjustments or potentially have similar naming conventions for assets, there could be incompatibility unfortunately. It’s likely this mod may mingle with them without issues but I haven’t tested with those specific ones to be sure.
Beorhthere Appleby 21 Aug, 2024 @ 8:44pm
So, just making sure I read the description correctly, this is not compatible with other CoA mods like Patrum Scuta and CoA designer?
hyphinel 21 Aug, 2024 @ 5:56pm
Appreciate it, thanks for the new Heraldry!
JoJo 21 Aug, 2024 @ 5:03pm
@alegdansk

Ok but it's a game and up to the mod author's creative licensing 😳😨
Prophayne  [author] 21 Aug, 2024 @ 5:15am
@alegdansk

Choose any colors you want my friend, we wont tell on you. If its five basic colors and silver and gold, well, I'm sure they are widely available to do what you want with.
alegdansk 20 Aug, 2024 @ 10:27pm
Ok but real heraldry uses only five basic colours + silver and gold 😳😨
