Yet the Terminator Harballer with a hud built in doesn't? seems VERY strange to me
I thought the way a hud would work is if there's a hud icon downloaded, it would prioritize that over the created hud icons, learn't its not like that.
Explains why the Terminator Hardballer hud of yours never works at all for me... maybe... that 1 I can't figure out yet
There's also scripts folder inside, I take a look at the scripts, and it's responsible for the hud itself. But comparing it to Gary hud, it's vastly different. Again, I don't understand it much, but maybe, some of these lines makes some of the icons doesn't work. I said maybe, so it may not be the answer. Your best bet is to ask the creator of that hud. Sorry that I can't help

Which is weird since a few don't, like the defib and adrenaline hud you did earlier, medkit doesn't work and a few others, is there a way to fix it?

When converting is done, now we need to change the folder by reverse. What I mean is, the input is now output folder, and the output is now input folder. Once you do that, make sure again to click "To VTF" then you can start converting again
Once converting is done, open your input folder, select all files and paste it on where we started, which is the folder that has all the vtfs and vmts
All it left is to go back to root folder of your mod
Once that's done, make sure the box beside the "To VTF" is empty, but leave it as it is for the "To TGA" button below the to vtfedit
Then go to options, and make sure all these settings are the same:
General:
Normal Format = DXT1
Alpha Format = DXT5
Texture Type = Animated Texture
Checkmark the Resize:
Resize Method = Nearest Power Of 2
Resize Filter = Quadratic
Sharpen Filter = None
Checkmark the Clamp:
Maximum Width = 512 or 1024
Maximum Height = 512 or 1024
Uncheckmark both the Mipmaps and Generate Normal Map, and once that's done, just select ok
Once unpacked, open the mod's folder, select materials folder, and then you need to click all the subfolders (usually a lot of mod has different names) until you find all the vtfs and vmts
Once in that folder, you need to sort it by type, cus we need to focus on compressing vtfs only, forget about vmts and do not compress vmts
Now on desktop, create two new folders, name them "input" and "output"
Once you made the folders, select all the vtfs (except things like exponent, phongwarp_steel, specular. They're usually take about 1kb, so don't compress this by unselecting them) then drag all the vtfs to input folder
1. Crowbar modding tool (for unpacking, downloading, and uploading)
2. VTFEdit (for compressing)
3. VPKEdit (optional)
