Hello, I'm getting a crash consistently in every campaign on Ugarit's end turn. I imagine the issue is with either the family trees mod, or its compatch with radious.

Only mods are Radious part 1 and 2, radious community bug fix patch, family tree mod, and family tree mod-radious compatch. Game just hangs when it gets to Ugarit in the end turn order, always between the 28-40 turn range.

Glad that it works! Regarding the divinity avatar skin, it's a bug without a known fix. Other users haven't reported any issues besides the doubling of the faction leader, but I can't promise anything.

Regarding the immortality for faction leaders, Expanded Family Trees is a historically focused mod, so I have designed it with the mortal faction leaders option in mind. I don't know if the immortality option will cause any issues. If you create a new game for a faction that contains dead ancestors (for example, Mycenae or Troy), and the family tree looks the same regardless of the immortality option, I'd say that toggling it on should be fine.

Oh, sorry I've bothered you. I works now, after I reinstalled the mod. The mod launcher put them in different order. The Ramses skin issue remains though.

Do you suggest toggling on immortality for all faction leaders in the campaign customization? Or should I leave it to off?

Yes, I have them in this order:

-Expanded Family Trees - Radious compatibility mod
-Expanded Family Trees
-Radious Community Bug fix
-Radious part 1
-Radious part 2

Also, I noticed that when I chose to start a campaign as Ramses, if I choose the divinity avatar skin for him, in the family tree tab, Ramses (w/ skin)) replaces Sekhanite, while the standard skin Ramses becomes the son of himself :))
If I choose the standard skin for Ramses, it works as intended, and Sekhanite appears as the father of Ramses.

Great mod, but I noticed I can't have 12-slots province capitals in Radious anymore. Must be a compatibility issue.

No changes to startpos, we do everything possible via scripts so startpos was not changed in our latest huge update.

I feart so. But for the why. I tought a own customisized faction who have all ways open to every culture and a unique family dynasty with own promotions and a central position of the map could be the point of perfection. But it was only an idea. I don´t have the knowledge. I have only ideas. And thank you for answering.

While it is technically possible, editing the campaign map is extremely difficult. I do not have the knowledge nor the tools to do this, but even if I did it would take months or years to do it. Anyway, why do you want a non-existing land on the Mediterranean? :steammocking:

(Amulet of Kings) I´m happy and lucky with your mods. Special with historical Family Trees. Your Ability´s are great and exactly from this i want ask you if a idea what is on my mind is to realize.
I now the Idea is sure harder but there is a lot of Water and not used potential between Crete and Cyprus. Can you expand or make a land who can a suitable Factions be placed. I think of a fantasy submod from Lord of the rings. So a little middleearth between Crete and Cyprus with the factions Mordor, Isengard, Elves, Dwarves, Gondor and Rohan. They have leaders, Regions and provinces with good names like minas tirith, Rivendel, Barad Dur etc. And they can suitable to the Ressource System. Do you Master of Mods thinking that this is to realize?

Yes, but it affects mostly the campaign settings, such as 6 turns per year, more resources, etc.

My mistake, it is indeed Setnakhte, but I got only him and Ramesses. No woman character is included...

Setnakhte should be the faction leader, not Merneptah who is the Pharaoh. The family tree should contain him, his wife, their son Ramesses and his sister-wife Tyti.

I think I might have solved this: the issue was that I had immortal leader option (game customisation) turned on. After I turned it off, I get Merneptah as faction leader and Ramesses as the son. Guess with this faction there are no more characters within the mod?

Hi Sekretar92, I have started a fresh Ramesses campaign with the load order you have mentioned and another one putting Expanded Family Tree on position 2 and they both loaded correctly, showing the correct family tree for the faction. I don't know what the issue might be, try unsubscribing and resubscribing to all the mods to force the installation of the last update.

Hi, i hope i can get some help with a bug I am experiencing here. Activated Mods:
1. Expanded Family Tree Radious Submod
2. Radious Mod 1
3. Radious Mod 2
4. Expanded Family Tree
4. Community Bugfix Radious Submod
5. Radious More Expensive Units

The bug I get: I start a new campaign as Ramesses and get 2 characters: Ramesses (18y) as faction leader, and then again Ramesses (18yr) as his son, both married with different spouses LOL. On the map there is only one Ramesses thou :D

Already tried to put Expanded Fam Tree on the pos 2, but it doesnt work (game crashes).
What am I missing here?

Sounds great Amulet! No worries at all I'm still doing my campaign of Achilles without this mod so yeah I won't do the turn 1 load thing lol I just found it funny 🤣. Also yeah I'll wait for the updates regarding the Troy characters too I don't mind not switching their weapons etc. But yeah the invisible fix would be the best 😏

Thanks for the info, I will look into it. The turn 1 bug has been there since the mod's release, it only happens if you load the autosave created when you begin a new campaign. I haven't bothered to solve it because you can simply create a new campaign.

Creating the Troy characters takes some work, so I have only created 2 versions of them: the regular and chariot versions. If you assign a new sword to a sword-wielding general, it will update its bodyguard unit to another sword unit, but the rest of the weapons won't alter the bodyguards.

Regarding the invisible weapons, there might be some mod clashes, the General variation one could be the issue. If the weapons are only missing in the porthole, I know what the issue might be, otherwise I will have to look into it.

Sorry Amulet I should've given more info and commented on here instead of the main Expanded family mods.

So far some things I've come across:
1. Patroculus and any Troy characters added for me have no weapon or shield and any weapon or shield added won't change unit type or what they are using as the weapon and shield are invisible.

2. I have also tried doing a save then i reload the first save then all character that are dead in the expanded family tree will come back to life idk if this a first turn bug lol but i only have reloaded the first time I have some pictures a bit funny but yeah.

Expanded family tree and radious compatibility one

Enforce Confederation,Easier Confederation,

Community Bug Fix Radious one

Better Camera mod and General variation with change porthole.

Feel free to ignore all my messages on the main Expanded Family tree mod as I should've messaged on here first.

Unfortunately, both edit the startpos file, so they aren't compatible. This mod includes 17 custom models (from Troy), if that helps

@Will-O-Maker07 Other users and I are having no trouble with the mod. Just in case, unsubscribe and resubscribe to reinstall the mods, and remember to load the compatibility submod on top of the other mods.

@Lenny_Froggins Haha that bug has been there since day 1, you can always restart a new campaign, it's not like you were going to lose any progress.

Fun bug: if you save the game in the first turn after starting the campaign, close out, and reload it: everybody's dead ancestors come back to life as generals Well, at least up in Mycenae lol.

Do you mean that new campaigns aren't working either? If it's only a savegame issue, it must be due to the last mod update, but it's strange because the only change I made should be savegame compatible. Anyway, you can revent the mod to the previous version in "Change Notes ( view )"

I have just tried it in a Tausret campaign and it has worked just fine. I have even built a mortuary temple. I don't think that there'ss anything wrong with the mod, unsubscribe and resubscribe to the mods to force the reinstallation, it's the only thing that I can think of.

@edson-guido What faction are you playing with? And which city does it happen on? I have checked it with Achilles and it works fine.

I'm running it without Radious and I have 12 building slots, but even with a Tier 5 city, I only have 8 slots unblocked

Correction, it's working perfectly now. The issue was that I reinstalled the mods in a messy way, which caused some conflicts. But now both mods work well together.

It still doesn't work, I'm sorry... I've reinstalled the mods, restarted the game, tested Radious without your mod, and it works correctly. But with your mod, unfortunately, it still doesn't work. There are still only 8 slots.

For me, with the EOLIA faction, settlements don't exceed 8 slots. I haven't tried with others yet. Thanks

We had recently no changes to startpos. All starting campaign map changes are done via scripts and not startpos for increased compatibility. So no need to update our startpos for now.
