This is bugged as of 0.29, wood door textures get bugged out.

Wonder if it is possible to just make it so these blocks are auto-replaced by new blocks. Basically, they take up "empty space", and the empty space is just a different color, so replacing it would replace the blocks as the new item covers it up. I don't know shit about coding so don't mind me.

That's a good idea. As I understand it you want me to make a color setting menu, something similar to the character settings?

I think You could add a menu where You can change the color without the need to add more objects or, I know is a lot, but You could add a Color palette, do you know what i mean?

Do you want me to add several color variations, or do you want the ability to change the color of the blocks somewhere in the configuration or menu? The first option is not difficult to implement; which colors should I add? As for the second one, I'm not sure how feasible it is since the color is set in the PNG image, and I'm not sure if it can be changed dynamically. If you have examples of how such functionality is implemented in other mods, feel free to send me links to them
