i might be doing this wrong but, im using drongo's air ops to have them go to paradrop location but once i hookup then they send me out for paradrop i dont get a parachute

Poor timings happen, nothing I can do about that. That update I did added a setting to disable disconnecting out of date clients.

Yes ACE is required. It's marked as a requirement on the workshop page. The game will also crash if you try to load AFTB without loading ACE.

The Osprey from CUP is already supported, and if you want to add support to another mod you can check out the documentation.

It's not too difficult to set up, probably only about 5 lines of "actual" config.

@GoonSix you can look at the S.O.G. Compat [github.com] to look at what classes are modified. TL;DR the the infantry specific chinooks can static line. The viv versions and medevac cannot.

There's no module, it uses the vanilla scripted waypoints system. I don't know Zeus well enough to tell you exactly how to change it, but it works fine in Eden. It could be possible that the vanilla scripted waypoints system only works in Eden.

sorry let me clarify, the the para dropping, or static para dropping, with that feature, do i need to create a traditional waypoint and double click it or is it some sort of module i have to use? because when i do create a waypoint, its only "para-drop" and that is just the base game one.

For parachuting from an airplane, the altitude provided by using waypoints in the original game version is too low. Are you interested in creating a feature that can control the altitude of the airplane?:happy_yeti:

There's an audio bug: i constantly hear the sound of "unhooking" from a static line whenever i hop out from any veihicle/turret.

Aegis breaks the inheritance of many classes and has refused to fix them, by adding functionality to them I would also need to break that same inheritance. I've just added several compats and FFAA doesn't seem to add anything new to that list. If you want to try out the other compats, test the dev version I linked below.

I need to leave steam in order to find out what this does. Thats like 2-3 extra clicks, a webbrowser opening and an external site loading.

@Adrian Shepherd I'll look into it, but OPTRE, at least recently, has been pretty unreliable with class names. I've had a couple other things break because they change things without any warning I can find.
