never mind, i played some more and now more than one settlement per province manages to get secured. I just needed to do some more battles.

I play this mod on "the old world" campaign map and it seems, that for every province i can only get one settlement completly secured from invasion. Under "province effects" It lists "Safe Deeps:", but there is never more than one Region listed for any province i have.
I'm on turn 55 and have completely upgraded the 3 deeps in my first province for more than 25 turns, but there are still armies spawning from time to time. Is that a problem of the campaign map i play or a general issue?

also was wondering, any thoughts on adding a version of this for skaven?
yes I know they have undercities, but by default those can only be placed in cities you don't own. and while there are mods that let you have them in your own settlements, like 90% of the buildings are pointless in your own settlements.

seems like the skaven should be even more likely to dig too recklessly and too deeply.
would be great to be able to expand skaven owned cities with something like this.

this was one of my favorite mechanics in my last chorfs campaigns, loved it so much i'm adding it to my current dwarf game.

its low-key amazing for farming experience for a newly recruited lord/hero/army etc.
just park em in a settlement with empty deeps, and you wind up with 'encampment' buildings spawning regularly enough that you can usually get 1-2 battles per turn, with garrison support if you need it. before you know it, that new lord and army are nicely levelled up to begin retaking more mountain halls!

Warning! the army's this mod spawns can be really ridiculous and stupid so be prepared for it before using it and potentially wasting a campaign. I just got an invasion with 20 dragons with some truly crazy stats + completely immersion breaking as the dragons are named and duplicated many times, so i got 3 dragons called gordinar and another 3 called bruwor (and many other duplicated ones) attacking me (I wonder how did so many dragons fit under a single mountain?). Thankfully disabling the mod and loading a save right before the army spawns worked.

Wow! Currently at turn 50 something using this mod and it really makes for a interesting game. Forces you to build tall if you want to use the deeps and really manage your lands more. I get a lot of daemons vs skaven and greenskins but that is fun too.

Hello, ty for this mod ! I got a bug, where the event marker appears, but the invasion army never spawn. Yet, i got a skaven army after destroying an "encampment building" as expected.
I don't see wich mod i have may interfere, and the bug persist even after disable all of them.
It was a new campain too.

@Peaceoutindexdown no this mod doesn't currently offer options in MCT because the previous iteration just added the invasions and the only option was to disable them. Maybe I will add some options but I don't feel motivated to do so.

@All is Dust: Fair enough. Then I think a number higher than 25% would be good. Maybe you could also make customizable. I'd suggest 50% though.

25% feels like a fine number. Will there stil lbe chance for them to spawn if the slots are left open? I kinda liked that, that they can be occupied. Should not happen if sth is already being built there ofc.

New update, thanks to CA making it easy to add blockers now you no longer need to be afraid of your buildings getting destroyed mid construction instead the when you lift the blockers there is a 1/4 chance of there being one of the monster cults you need to demolish. After clearing them out that slot is free to use or leave empty.

Has anyone else run into an issue where warpstone cache is not removed even with me present, and no underway nodes being created? Playing modded tow and sfo, not sure if anything else could break this

@malkoram That is intended when you get any deeps building to tier 3 or demolish a tier 5 dragon lair it spawns the hardest possible enemy.CA will update the deeps to allows to substitute blockers when they do so those buildings will no longer overwrite your building in construction, until then there isn't a good way to check if you have a building in construction and the game just thinks that is a empty slot.

Great, thank you, now only one army spawns and not 3 or 4, but something happened to the dragons, im being invaded by armies of 19 dragons and a wood elf mage, and more than half of those dragons are legendary dragons from Imrik campaign, 3 Shackolot, 4 Bruwor, 1 Gordinar, etc. (this happens when i demolish a dragon lair=

Those dragons are crazy powerful by themselves and fighting 10 at the same time require around 4 to 5 armies.

also it is intended that the threat from the deep occupying building slots overwrites building under construction? i lost tens of thousands of gold because my building that last 3 turns to be complete gets occupied by a threat, and it happens too frequently.

@AllIsDust i see, well i does not matter if i trigger it the first turn or if i wait, i get invaded usually by tzentch, slaneesh, greenskins and wood elves with 6-10 sun dragons at the same time if i have a tier 2 building, usually need my main army + garrison or 2 armies to defend against that just to get invaded again the next wave by 4 more armies.

if i have only t1 buildings i get invaded by a regular skaven or khorne army easy to deal with but t2 is crazy difficult an t3 is the same but with greater demons.

I have no other mods that affect the deeps, the only thing that comes close is one that changes the underways cooldown, but I've already removed it and nothing happened, so I can only assume this mod is broken.

Idk what is happening, but when I build a deeps entrance, it's settlement view is completely blank, there are no building slots, and I can't build in them at all.
