ok so i got all the dlc, but everytime a retaliation mission happens i crash on mission complete when promted to press any button, and all saves during and just before the mission are corrupt and cant be loaded.

I believe the only mod that hard requires that DLC is the mod that tweaks the resistance, but as a general rule of thumb the Odd seasons make a core assumption that players have all DLCs installed. I know Steam has sales on X2 and its DLCs all the time, so I would recommend picking up that pack during one of those sales.

no i dont have the resistance gear dlc thats proabably it then, does that mean i just cant use the modpack?

my game keep crashed after completing a relaliation mission, now it crashes everytime i go to load, iv only installed the capnbubs accessory mod and the lootbox one

Has anyone encountered a bug with using the Split Shot ability on any class (in my case, gotten through the bottom row bonus skill tree) where it crashes the game upon attempting to execute it?

Yup, known issue. Turns out grabbing that info from the game is REALLY hard to do reliably, so that's been an ongoing saga.

has anyone encountered the percentage values for shots being not correct? as in aliens missing 100% shots and then hitting 100% when a xcom operative is hunkered down in full cover and not flanked?

I saw someone else saying to uninstall the hud lag fix mod. I tried it and it looked like it was working this morning but I had to go before I could fully test it

to add another comment to my previous one. i had to move to be able to anything with my abilities or to fire a weapon. pretty big problem

on my turn my units abilities/overwatch all gray out and i can no longer use anything. saving and reloading fixes it for a half a second but then it goes right back to how to was. any fixes or anyone else having this problem?

Any tips to encouter more Advent Priest ? im not quite sure but they appeared just once in a mission with extraction so i dont have a corpse to do an reserach and get psi amps

As XpanD says: Adding more specs generally will be safe. There are some that require more extensive pieces (such as things like Proficiency) where you need to watch for ripples, but if the specs generally only require a single other class or perk packs, you don't need to worry too much. In terms of balance, though, spec exclusions and spec availability may come into question as you pile on more specs.

Think I can answer this one -- specs themselves should be safe to add, but you will want to check their dependencies carefully to see if they could cause an issue. When in doubt, I'd recommend asking in the Discord (or here, if need be) so people can have a look.

Note that adding specs will shift how common other specs are too, as you'll be creating more valid class combinations. You may want to use the "CountSpecs" and "CountSpecWeapons" console commands before and after to see if everything still makes sense.

@FearTheBunnies Sorry for bothering you but, is there any known problem with adding Amalgamation classes? Asking because i know there are custom tweaks.

This modlist utilizes Psionics Ex Machina which will allow ANY soldier once graded to equip psi amps and attach psi gems to them. This allows for any soldier in your roster to utilize psionic abilities. The capture MOCX psi unit is a "bonus" way to get a dedicated psi class versus the PExM grading route.

Nope, not without heavy modifications.

LWotC makes a toooon of changes to base game logic (similar to the jump from, say, vanilla to WotC), and this tends to break a lot of other mods. Anything paired with it that isn't just a voice pack or the like should be looked over carefully.

Now only need to somehow make so that the soldier has normal animation where he holds pistols in two hands. Like in [WOTC] Dual Wielded Pistols 2.0. Now he only holds them both in one hand

Should be fine. If you have the console enabled, try running a "CountSpecs" to see how many classes the spec can appear on.

New to the mods. Is it working with these mods Amalgamation: Akimbo Specialization(Primary), [WOTC] Iridar's Akimbo Class?
Either I'm not lucky enough to get an akimbo promotion, or they're not working. Odd had it in some previous seasons, and I added it myself in the 9th season, but I do not know if it works for sure, since there are no conflicts or dependencies shown in AML.

The main reason i want to use UC is because i added the Super Soldier classes and i can't really customize them without UC, i mean i prefer not to use UC but i have no choice :(

Unrestricted Customization use a very hacky approach to do its thing, and it tends to screw with other mods. It'll also mess up character pools, which causes issues when using the official Odd pools which were saved without it.

You can probably make it work if you don't want the pools (and if you toss Appearance Manager or read up on the interactions between the two), but it'll probably take some trial and error.

If you do decide to try it, make sure you get the UC Redux -- no reason to use the original version anymore.

That note was put in there for folks who were participating in soldiers submissions. This modlist is focused around Iridar's Appearance Manager for the cosmetics, and Unrestricted Customization does not play nice with IAM. To avoid weird issues with character pool files we advised folks to NOT run UC alongside the list. For your own personal playthrough, if you prefer UC over IAM, then please, by all means, run UC with this list.

I downloaded all the mods for Season 9 including all cosmetic mods. I started the first mission using AML and all my soldiers are bald and have the same voices except for languages. Why is that?

If it's the issue I'm thinking of, it's on the code end -- everyone gets it. Turn off the mod temporarily if it doesn't let you turn off that specific feature, see if that changes it any.

@XpanD I verified deleted all configs and rebooted and fresh installed and still same issue. I dont see anything in the mod options that would fix that either so im at a loss

That's a known issue with Extended Information, I believe. Check if it lets you configure that through the mod settings in-game, chances are you can turn it off.

(apparently getting this stuff from the game in a reliable manner is /really/ difficult)

I just downloaded the mod pack been enjoying. Im still early into the campaign for some extra background information. Ive noticed basically every enemy besides what seems like mech units( Advent droids and Turrets so far), their shots say 100% hit chance but some miss and some hit and only every shows 100% no other number. I did get the tactical training dark event so they have increased aim but basically every enemy when they shoot says 100% hit chance regardless of how good or bad their shot actually is. It may just be a graphical issue but it makes understanding how good/bad of a shot the enemy actually took hard on top of not fully understand if they are getting some wierd advantage and the issue is more than just graphical. I can take some screenshots if needed but its starting to get a really fustraiting and although im early i dont want to have to full restart and lose the 6ish hours ive got so far.

Many thanks for your hard work on these mods, just finished my campaign on commander yesterday and I had a blast! While I enjoyed the rework of Leviathan very much, the Network Tower was kind of too easy. But maybe I just rolled baby Advent units.

@MDKayzeur This is one of those issues that is rare, but try removing the Tactical HUD Lag Fixes and see if that helps. That mod does a lot of cool stuff for performance under the hood, but can also be quite... temperamental on certain machines. We don't know why, but it is usually a good starting point to investigate. (You were correct that the conflict can be ignored when using all of the gameplay mods together.)

indeed there was a conflict happening with another mod, i saw it but with what was said on the page of the collection i prefered to trust anyway.

i jsut launched the first mission and i can tell it's working way better, the abilities refreshes correctly and my game isn't as laggy

I don't remember this for sure, but try removing Tactical HUD Lag Fixes and see if that helps. Vaguely recall a mod (I think that one?) causing this for some people.

I have tried more things and it seems like the game doesn't "refresh" the ability bar so when i select the first unit i can basically only play this unit unless i somehow get the game to refresh the abilities bar.

right now i'm stuck at the first mission since i can't really do anything against any enemies
