I never played alpha centari but yes that is the aim of this mod. Hope it helps out and enjoy if it does :)

i cant get a single leader to declare war on me no matter what i do will this help make the game less of a "win through research" and more like alpha centari

I think my opinion is, first the sponsors already back-stab very much and are quite aggressive at mid/late game. On the other hand however, I do believe that it is by human nature, for people to be quite aggressive when at a foreign environment. But balancing the two, I think it is at the moment not necessary. I will wish to have more consistency, in terms of how these leaders act. Like as @JonnyboyBBeast said, if they were 200+ turns your alliance, they don't just back-stab just like that? It is a bit confusing and yes it happened to me too :(

Yeah, don't think I'll be using this. I've alreayd been backstabbed in every single one of my games by my 200+ turn ally, only person in the world who hadn't condemned them, only person in the world ot constantly fight wars with them and give them gifts, only to be backstabbed in every game by this civ. Always varying by the actual faction too. Still downloaded it in case I want to try it out one day though.

less loyal? more deciving? every time a leader asks to ally/cooperate/open borders with you is just to backstab you. they are already a bunch of morons with out this mod, you can't trust anyone if you didn't set them to be in the same team as you beforehand. damn backstabbers, all of them.

Who I hat the worst is the African guy. He constantly nags you to let his forces into your borders so that he can just backstab you

I keep hearing about people never getting attacked but I just don't see it happening. I had to go to war against arc in order to keep up relations with a faction that I'd been trading with and while I was fighting them the african country marched a rather large army into my territory and laid siege on my capitol and main production city. This was only on voltoc, or whatever the word is, not apollo so I find it rather confusing that it apparently doesn't happen on higher difficulties.

Any way you could add your mod activation as a game setup option? Like "_ Aggressive leaders"?
figoscookies  [author] 29 Oct, 2014 @ 9:28am
If they replace a sponsor already in the game then yes they will but newly added ones unfortunately
Carnwulf 29 Oct, 2014 @ 8:38am
does this have any effect on sponsors from the workshop. Will those also become more hostile?
figoscookies  [author] 26 Oct, 2014 @ 12:33pm
Thats because its the base game files being edited and they arent shown in that way.

I checked this mod and (somewhat similar to Warlike Aliens) it seems like it does nothing. I mean, for me, there is the .modinfo file, which references the Game Rules1.sql file, but that is empty, except for a remark.

It seems necessary as in my current game with 5 AI and difficulty one above normal (Vostok?) noone attacks me. I settle near them, I kill the aliens and they just keep warning me. 358 turns and I have not seen war.

hehehe, I think the Slavic federation in my first game should have hated me more because I put 4 miasmic condensers over their land before they had immunity. It was a way of attacking their units without being at war. I wounded them, did a coup d'état of their capital, and they still didn't declare war or even hate me (granted I was on sputnik just to check out the new features).

Right they care about orbital units, sometimes, ive had some inconsitency with that though.

One would link that a miasmic flood would be an act of war. Though I can say even in war the I have never seen the AI attack an orbital unit that wasn't in my territory. If you have one over your base and they attack you they will take it out first thing it seems. But if you have one in the field support your troops, even if they wipe out your troops and have the units nearby that can attack the orbital they just dont for some reason. At least thats my experience so far.
Reya 25 Oct, 2014 @ 10:38pm
I have had yell me about the Miasmic condesators
But that was for putting an orbital unit near them
figoscookies  [author] 25 Oct, 2014 @ 10:17pm
They do have an option to condemn you for removing miasma as far as ive experienced but im not sure about the adding part. Maybe because of harmony bonuses this may not be included in the base game or just not very likely? Thanks for the input anyways and deffinitly something ill look into
Crüsybl 25 Oct, 2014 @ 10:07pm
One thing the civ be ai is missing is miasmic attacks/help. If you set up miasmic condensators around an enemy city and flood their base with miasma they don't care at all. Likewise clearing miasma out of their city doesn't make them like you more. It would be awesome if you could fix that in this mod
the2pages 25 Oct, 2014 @ 8:52pm
so exactly like civ 6 AI already is they get upset if i settle a city they get upset if i attack aliens they get upset if i clear a forest we screwed up our world with overpopulation not with original thinking
