well they got more range then Gatling but there more effective at 600m and are more acurate then a Gatling but they do bearly any damage to grids and cant target grids either only missiles and metors but unlike a gatling gun they and destroy a large majority of missiles

Is this better than using the Gatling turret? Like is it more accurate and more range?

I just love the design, it looks like a small grid turret for large grids, i guess for me the design is what i like a lot about it, but understandable was just a question. Thank you for the response!

WC would be a serpate mod idk if it be this turret on it own i do have one that i working on and off which is WC that has this turret in but is also adds a few more vanilla fitting weapons but im not sure how long that will be but really i never seen too much reason to ahve this as it own WC mod since many mods have good point defence turret so the only way i ever justified spending time on a WC version is if it in a pack

So in the future will this mod be compatible with Weaponcore? or if wanting to make a "Vanilla" model could you make one that works with WC? This turret looks awesome and I'd love to use but its not working with Weapon Core

it seams there must of been some change to how the game renders bullets and since for these to work as well they do i had the bullets traveling very fast it wasn't rendering it now i have updated and slowed down the bullets and turned up the turret turning speed and that seams to of equalled out so it at good as it was before

Hey, love seeing vanilla styled stuff being added. Out of curiosity does vanilla support shooting down other projectiles such as artillery etc?

Thank you for this Mod its so hard to find a good Point Defense Mod that is Vanilla friendly that can shoot down rockets and missiles :espresso:

yeah well that true there are lot of other weapon mods for weapon core but for some that use the weapon core vanilla replacement there lacking a good point defence that look like vanilla as well

well yeah it another reason i didn,t do this for weapon core is cause there many weapon core weapons that are point defence and there not really any vanilla ones

well if it dose it will be add to my list of 114 mod and use a true Point Defence since wc have Point Defence for rocket right now all this Point Defence Turret good for is shoting at rocks

the max range is 900 though i find there more effective at lower ranges and there alot better then gattling turrets which is why i made them gatlings do bearly anything maybe get the odd one these very hit there target though i did have to turn them down abit cause at one stage they were just 100% on all missiles which was abit over kill for balance

Technically advanced power 2 is under apathy i dont have any ability to update it sonce he the main account on it and i dont think he around anymore

@andersenman true, what i meant is spelling. but my point still stands...how does it affect gameplay? does it? when you post about it the second time it sounds as if this mod breaks your save and needs repairing.

If it's not a big deal, why did you spell the other words right? Why spell anything right? Why spell anything at all? Why draw anything right? Why make a mod right? Your response makes no sense. It really doesn't matter whether you have dyslexia, syphilis, a green hat, or Thursday. Maybe I have dyslexia, too, just that often enough I manage to find my mistakes to fix them because I am aware that I am liable to making mistakes and take the necessary precautions? Maybe I'm legally blind and use a screenreader? Maybe I'm Welsh? — I don't know what assumptions you made about me that lead you to go so petulantly on the defense. I certainly didn't make any when I pointed out what mistake there was and where it was.

so just did some testing it seams with the way SE is if your the one that clicks to fire the missiles are seen as friendly weven if the block is set to space pirate but if you go into the control panel and tell the rocket launcher to shoot the turrets should destroy them

hey interesting turret design. i did some testing (no other mods involved) and the turret is making no attempt to intercept the rocket.

i built a quick small ship with a rocket launcher then set the entire ship's ownership to space pirates. i then took control of it to fire the rockets at the turret but the rockets still flies pass the turret. the turret doesn't react at all.
