If you wish to fight the aircraft, go manually to Alarm state as soon as it is spotted. If the crash dive was already initiated, just cancel it by setting depth to surface.
- AA-gun not manned?
I mean, I can think of scenarios where I would prefer to stay and fight. For example, if I have an awayteam ashore/boarding, or I am approaching a harbour etc. In those cases I would man the aa-gun to be prepared, so diving would just mess things up.
I had suggested a simple compromise: I can add a condition that the ship will not crash dive if it is alarmed. Personally, and this is reflected in most of my mods, I like to have manual control of things under alarm conditions.

If you don't , then the mod is not running or enabled.
Currently, you can just cancel the dive by hitting the surface button, the trigger is the moment when an aircraft is spotted, shouldn't dive again unless you lose it and it comes back.
