1.6 Update is released. I had to fight with the villain complexes a lot, but if I missed something let me know when the errors pop up

Minor Hero Organization update:
- Hero Ranks now reduce fear susceptibility
- Minor rewording of some of the quests

Made an update to make it so baseliners are a much rarer spawn in the super faction. I meant for there to be a chance, but not quite as high as it was.

Also forgot to report back about the Empire's intro quest. I was able to get the quest to spawn without issue in my game, but in the process of trying to figure out the issue, I did notice it has some extra requirements beyond just the time since landing. If anyone's still having the issue, try forcing steam to redownload this mod, and try with scenarios that have 3 or more pawns while you aren't in more extreme environments like ice sheets.

If you still have the issue despite all those steps, you may have found a random mod incompatibility. I don't know what the game considers to be extreme climates for the purposes of quests, but if you pick one of the obviously mild ones for your test you should be safe.

I'm using one of the Vanilla Expanded Storyteller's, Perry Persistent, not sure if it'll help with the issue. But hopefully it can indicate at least something maybe?

It might be related to the villain intro quest. I'll have to mess around with it for a bit to see if I can replicate and deal with the issue. Empire, Hero, and Villain quests are added to the base storyteller, so if you get the hero or villain ones you should be able to get the empire one as well.

Seems to have it that it always generate the Hero and Villain starting quests and not generate the Empire starter quest lately, is it storyteller related? Just curious mostly.

No. Superhero Genes Base along with Villains and Stereotypes have some limited functionality in 1.4, but this mod does not.

The bug where villainous foes wouldn't generate properly when enemies with the hero organization should stop now, though as a side effect of my fix they will still ask you to kill some villains randomly. As long as you are not playing the New Villains scenario the quests will function as normal, though if you are playing that scenario you'll probably encounter some weird bugs. I'm still working on finding a good fix for that.

In somewhat related news, both radiant quests will now wait until you're more established to send the first quests.

Added psionists, hemomancers, and radiomancers as a rare spawn. Also added a setting to prevent the annoying heroes and the villainous foes from spawning. I still haven't been able to replicate the bug reported with these quests, so please send me logs if you happen to encounter them again.

this is pretty cool, but i started up a save and got a quest pretty quick. The [Askername_full], [faction_leaderTitle], etc were all unfilled. on top of that, when i accepted the quest to raid a campsite, no capsite was created, which means i couldnt actually complete the quest and automatically had to fail it. gonna keep playing this save though, just to make sure it isnt a one-time fluke.

Double-check that you have the right faction in the permit menu. Even if you don't have any royal pawns it will default to the empire's permits. You can change the faction with the little arrows in the upper left.

Keeps saying I can choose a new permit but there is nothing I can buy and have 0 permit points.

Looks like the empire code doesn't check for trader faction like it should, I'll try to get a fix out soon.

The Fallen Empire will sometimes send a Hero Donation Collector instead of a Royal Tribute Collector. This is an issue as it means that it's a roll of the dice if the Royal Tribute collector is going to take your 'volunteers' or gold for favor.
