Can we get one Byzantium province so that the Purple Phoenix may rise from this, their enemies decimated as a few of them survived in either the cellars or sewers of Constantinople, the Basilus among them?

it MIGHT have been that one, for eu4 anyways. in eu3 it didnt really have a name, it was just part of a mod as a start date/scenario

reminds me of that one mod for eu3 that someone actually remade for eu4. The only christian nations left were Sweden, Scotland, Sardinia and Cataluna and you had to compete with these muslim colonist OPMs for the rest of europe

@ranger @ichor @ironwolf @mega I appreciate you guys taking the time to leave a comment and feedback. We've been gathering a little to-do doc together so when we hit the patching Phase of the Modathon we work on things you've all mentioned.

The negative modifiers coming back for the Highlands is one we've already found a way to fix, we are working on getting LOC set up, and in general just getting content set up. Again thank you for your interest in our project.

well, the idea of mod is interesting BUT. There is a catasrophic lack of content, even in previewed countries. Also lots of bugs described earlier in comment and some new ones (the wonder opened by the archeological expedition can not be build, for example).

I hope you will fix it in the future, cause i really want to play this mod next time :steamhappy:

I loaded my save from last night as the Highlands and all the modifier that i removed came back, such as the desolation and high autonomy stuff

absolutely solid concept, I love the lore and idea of this world and I'm excited to see it expanded upon. Yeah, there are quite a few bugs and glitches, but I understand it is brand new and you guys are working on it. Solid start!

It's cool stuff man, but there's definitely a lot of rough edges. Unfortunately that's just the nature of the modathon though, you've only got so much time.

I encourage you guys to keep it up and continue working on it. It's a great concept. Just polish it, clean it up, keep adding to it and it'll be a great overhaul eventually.

Alrighty, having tinkered around a bit and done a game as The Lowlands, I have a few critiques alongside the note about estate privileges not working as intended.

1) There's a woeful lack of localization or description. I can deal with not having a lot of text for a mission tree, but there's no localization on several important things such as the *start-up screen*, which could use a list of nations with unique mission trees.

2) There needs to be more content for the nations you and your team have decided to focus on. I played a Lowlands game, and they run out of content once you form Albion.

3) There needs to be a quality control pass over the missions. I noticed that the mission involving dealing with the faroes and orkney gave me a claim on Sina, and that to complete it I would need to take that instead.

All in all, this is a strong start for a mod, don't get me wrong, especially one made for a mod jam, but these are small tweaks that can make your mod much better.

Unsure if it's being re-balanced for the game, but as the lowlands, when giving out privilages to the Chieftans, none of them seem to impact loyalty or influence other than Supremacy over the Crown. In fact none of the estate privileges seem to negatively *or* positively impact loyalty or influence privileges for any estate aside from the aforementioned Supremacy over the Crown

nice mod but way too much vinland larp, itd be better if it focused on post-plague europe and ditched the norse larp entirely
