I forgot to remind everyone. There's a chance that the game might crash because of the size of the map or the type of the map.

Play on 30% seed only to avoid unnecessary lagging or loading. Map from Geological Landforms like the Cirque always cause a CTD. Could not make it work.

@snarky what kind of glitch? because I'm already on my 5 year run on this list. This is the last video I made from reddit with additional mods (edo japan like gameplay)

UPDATE: The mod Faction Customizer is deleted and the author moved it to another account. I added the reuploaded mod to replace the missing one. Just resubscribe to it to avoid loading moving missing mod or wreck your save.

@Sucralosa I checked the Medieval Overhaul page and they updated it. Maybe they messed up some codes and caused a bug. Comment section also mentions it. I can do nothing about that sorry.

I researched Stews just in case but nothing seems to work. Quests are bugged too, (ERR: [Joiner_NameDef]'s [Site/site_label]), and Dubs Mint Menus doesn't recognice the cooking table as a workshop, so It doesn't show me any bill. Maybe my game is broekn or something :(

no, It was working fine this morning, my pawn was making fine meals and pemmican, and I think simple meals doesn't have to be researched. I played in the morning, and then re-opened the game a few hours later, and found the problem right away. I reconstructed the table, and did some more and it was the same thing. The only mod I changed was the vanilla texture expanded, and I'm using Facial animation retexture por NALS facial animation.

@Sucralosa maybe you haven't researched the food yet. I think, there's a different category for Medieval Overhaul foods in research tab.

I recently installed this modpack and I'm really having fun with it. But recently I have a problem specifically with cooking bills. When I go to bills on a rustic cooking table, it doesn't show any recipy, just a empty box. It doesn't happen with any other workbench, just with tables that are for cooking (vanilla fueled stove, campfire, except sushi prep table), please help ToT

@Goose Well that's the problem with Medieval 1.5. There is no stable storyteller for now.

- You could wait for VFE - Medieval 2 for a storyteller that limits the technology/quests to medieval only,
- use VFE Classical storyteller but the problem is it's limited to neolithic age,
- or use rimedieval to fix the quests/tech/items to medieval only. I wouldn't recommend the rimedieval though, it's a buggy mess.

I didn't mind that turrets on my run since I'm playing with powder guns anyways. I thought people already knew since VFE medieval 2 isn't out yet. Maybe I should've included it on my description. Lol my mistake.

@Fizzypopfox just auto-sort it with rimpy, arrange the Dubs Performance Analyzer and put it on the top of the list since it will cause error if it's on the middle/bottom. IDK why it's not working for you though.


@Caramell Sundoffe Try optimizing the textures properly with Rimpy. It'll take 2 hrs to finish the optimization though. If you don't know that, better search for that guide.

If you want, you can try ToDDs. I heard it's much better than rimpy.

Just a reminder though, this list has like 200+ mods and most of medieval mods are retextures. Of course it'll take a while to load if you don't optimize it.

IDK why it takes 10+ minutes to what 15-20? Maybe you added unnecessary mods on your list or heavy coded mods like Combat Extended.

Mine is loading at 5-12 I think... (if I arrange some mods to fix problms). I don't mind waiting since I'm playing to relax, not hustling to play.

Takes 10+ minutes to load with everything enabled. Even on an SSD.
