the canister shell can be replenished! like the vanilla railgun canister shell, it shoots a cloud of pellets which can then be replaced and the shell reused at a fabricator :)
How about having both? Just a thought

it should essentially work like a big shotgun, and that was how it worked during testing :) let me know if it's doing something weird!

No longer overrides vanilla railgun shell rack
yeah it's whatever tbh. comment section on my steam mod is pretty low on the list of things that it makes sense to be up in a twist about lol

I wonder, is there a way to increase velocity of the shells? My upper LRASC kinda hits the nose of my ship when I don't pay attention =O
Might be just a user error... my ship is 80 meters long and the upper LRASC is at the port side and firing to starboard...

@Rapturatron idk what to tell you man, it's not reliant on immersive repairs. if it was, other people wouldn't be able to run it. if there was an issue that made it impossible to run, giving me a "hint" is literally the worst way to go about it and makes you look like an asshole

Error while loading component of the type Barotrauma.Items.Components.Repairable. ("LRASC" depends on a package with name or ID "3114087512" that is not currently installed.)
Which brings me to immersive repairs
and maybe ammo that help in fight with monster swarms, a shell that explode and spray out acid clouds.
Anyways, more shell types are coming soon, like canister (or maybe even burst fire shells???).
I'm caught up developing the Shock Ranger Armor mod, but once I'm done with fleshing out the full suite of class armors, I'll get right on this!
- Sick design, audio and visual
- Single shell loader like a tank
- Actual ammo types used in actual combat I.e. APFSDS (Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot) And HE (High Explosive)
- It does absolutely DESTROY submarines, which is what it says on the lable.
Things I dislike
- Feels really under powered
- Uses way too much power leaving it outclassed by the rail gun's quicker firing time
- Leaves you wishing for a railgun instead as despite the power for destroying submarines, you are rarely fighting them.
Possible improvements
- Honestly I cant think of much other than making an ammo type specifically for anti-creature
- I do really love the mod, but it's almost useless in a campaign setting unless doing pirates and Coalition/Separatist Subs
- do it use vanilla railgun shells? modded shells? or it have it own custom shells?
- how many new shell is being add if it use custom shell?
it can help some user or at least me to understand more of the mod before use.
