but it still needs team colors, is too favouring the red team
-Speaking of red, the paint is too red-centric and could really benefit from being team colored. I know this is meant to look rusty so I suggest the blu variant being more yellow just so there is a distinct difference. Maybe like a worn brass look? Merely a suggestion for this point.
This has the potential to look good, ya just gotta make sure you put some real thought into how metal is done in other aspects of the game. I suggest studying up on some map brush textures to get a feel.
One more thing, I suggest switching to a base with albedo tinting cuz this could really benefit from that. Some good two texture ones I can suggest are Steel Brushed and Broken Bones.
-The contrast of the space between the plates and the plates themselves is way too harsh as well as the space itself being a bit too big; decrease the contrast and size on the spacing between the plates.
-The smaller plates are entirely unnecessary and breaks the pattern. I suggest removing those.
-There should be a clearer distinction between plates. Add a very subtle shadow around the plates where the lines are (a.k.a. copy your line layer and just Gaussian blur it and set opacity to like 20%) as well as a slight highlight in the the middle of the plates. Make it look like each plate has some slight definition and height from middle to perimeter.
-The rivets don't look cohesively placed. There's even spacing, but they just look plastered on almost like they're stickers. Reduce the lighting contrast on those to be less harsh and add some metal wear around them to show they've actually been riveted onto the plate.
