The monks the Resonancebot4g ai produce won't heal allied units that don't belong to it's own force for some reason. BruteForce's monks and the regular computer ai's monks do. It also seems slow to start in comparison to BruteForce's mass production. Still very much appreciate your work though!

Yea thats it, if you play ( you have to start the skirmish) with the ResonanceBot4g - ST they will override the AI of the campaign, so lets say you play with 3 resonance ai on skirmish, they are player 2 5 and 7, if the campaign has those players in use ( my match from the screen below has 7 players including me) then the AI on those slots in the campaign will be overidden.

By the way with just going into single player and getting the screen players to normal computer will fix the problem.

Actually they are active, ill check if using normal computer on skirmish single player before going to campaign will stop AI from getting into campaign.

For some reason the AI talks in campaign like if i was using it, so far i don't think it is active or anything but i find it quite weird, i am on joan campaign mission 2, purple ( burgundy) and gray ( orleans) wrote the intro message of the AI.

nice ai, but i have an issue, i was playing with my friends and the AI got stuck in feudal age, and didnt advance, we try putting some commands but nothing changes!

I also cannot change settings after taunting 42. it always says it did not detect a response. I is a bug? or something I'm not doing? I'm going into the trumpet chat. and everyone is selected and the taunts don't work :( look like a really great ai!! best I've seen. yet to try it properly though :P

I've noticed 2 things which could be possibly affecting why ResBot (or AI's in general) do not respond to some taunts.

1. The AI engine is somewhat bugged right now (returning false values or not detecting values correctly)
2. The AI chatting and taunt detection seems to be slow (quite noticable on multiplayer games) and sometimes will just flat out ignore you.

AIs in general can only respond to taunts if you type them via the Chat Menu (the trumpet icon in the top right of your screen). The * chat shortcut does not work with AIs so you have to go the chat menu and make sure that the message is set to be sent to Everyone. ;)

That's rather unfortunate to hear, although I'ld say that gives one a lot more incentive to play vs human players! ;-)
The AI won't tune down the difficulty that much, that it becomes only a matter of time until you beat it, will it?
Unfortunately I didn't record it. However you might be pleased to hear, that I've watched every of your youtube video tutorials and any new videos since Feb this year. I've learned what I know from those and from zeroempires videos!

I can attribute many of the issues that you experienced to limitations with AI scripting without access to the full UserPatch 1.4, which Aoe2 HD does not have. Scouting since patch 3.8 has also been rather inconsistent, so if the AI doesn't find its resources early it can be a bit slower to advance. Thankfully these issues are pretty rare though.

As time goes on I am always looking to improve these type of things, but that can be quite tricky. :D

By default it will change the difficulty slightly on its own. I don't think its ever worth toggling off though. You do bring up a good point though that it may be hard to toggle it off while managing the early-game. When using Taunt 42, not answering the questions will cause the setting to remain unchanged.

I am really glad to hear that not only did you beat the AI, but you also beat it with my favorite combination of trash units, gunpowder, and defensive castles! <3

So I actually beat your new AI on hard for the first time... feels golden!
Questions:

Match: Arabia (standard) Britons(AI)vs Italians(me), Standard settings 200 pop, FE. Length 1:25
Unit choices: AI had all the advantages. 5 relics, pushing since feudal and 2/3 of the map controlled including almost all extra gold deposits. Still it didn't manage well against my trash and gunpowder army and two defensive castles.
Vills: It had more than me, still it gathered a lot less ressources, and only half of the food. More farms in castle?
Advancing: Very slow. 3 minutes late on feudal, 8 mins late on castle and never gotten up to imp.
Housekeeping: Doesn't rebuild lumbercamps and doesn't find all sheep. AI-bug?
Scaling: Does it change difficulty by itself? It sent the "Enemy sighted" taunt 15 mins in. Can I turn off the scaling without losing time in the early game by waiting through all the taunts?
Thanks anyways though, I like your AI's style!!! It's quite challenging!

May I ask, but is the performance of this AI better than the regular one? I and probably several others have noted lag and slowdowns in LAN with AI, but no lag w/o AI =)
