Wondering if you had some type of rough 'ELO to Bot Difficulty' scale, I think it would be great info to add onto this page
I was asking for this "Taunt shortcut problem" but you answered it previously. Maybe you can have a word on it in the description or making the AI telling it!

On standard or multiplayer mode, choose "CustomAI4g" instead of "Computer" opponent.

1. The AI engine is somewhat bugged right now (returning false values or not detecting values correctly)
2. The AI chatting and taunt detection seems to be slow (quite noticable on multiplayer games) and sometimes will just flat out ignore you.
but i always answer with 1 or 2.
The AI still build docks and Navy at the Fortress Map. - why it can not set option detect land map ?

That's rather unfortunate to hear, although I'ld say that gives one a lot more incentive to play vs human players! ;-)
The AI won't tune down the difficulty that much, that it becomes only a matter of time until you beat it, will it?
Unfortunately I didn't record it. However you might be pleased to hear, that I've watched every of your youtube video tutorials and any new videos since Feb this year. I've learned what I know from those and from zeroempires videos!

I can attribute many of the issues that you experienced to limitations with AI scripting without access to the full UserPatch 1.4, which Aoe2 HD does not have. Scouting since patch 3.8 has also been rather inconsistent, so if the AI doesn't find its resources early it can be a bit slower to advance. Thankfully these issues are pretty rare though.
As time goes on I am always looking to improve these type of things, but that can be quite tricky. :D
By default it will change the difficulty slightly on its own. I don't think its ever worth toggling off though. You do bring up a good point though that it may be hard to toggle it off while managing the early-game. When using Taunt 42, not answering the questions will cause the setting to remain unchanged.
I am really glad to hear that not only did you beat the AI, but you also beat it with my favorite combination of trash units, gunpowder, and defensive castles! <3
I think the only major things missing now are the Incan Llama Rush behaviour and the paint-huffing villager mechanic.
Questions:
Match: Arabia (standard) Britons(AI)vs Italians(me), Standard settings 200 pop, FE. Length 1:25
Unit choices: AI had all the advantages. 5 relics, pushing since feudal and 2/3 of the map controlled including almost all extra gold deposits. Still it didn't manage well against my trash and gunpowder army and two defensive castles.
Vills: It had more than me, still it gathered a lot less ressources, and only half of the food. More farms in castle?
Advancing: Very slow. 3 minutes late on feudal, 8 mins late on castle and never gotten up to imp.
Housekeeping: Doesn't rebuild lumbercamps and doesn't find all sheep. AI-bug?
Scaling: Does it change difficulty by itself? It sent the "Enemy sighted" taunt 15 mins in. Can I turn off the scaling without losing time in the early game by waiting through all the taunts?
Thanks anyways though, I like your AI's style!!! It's quite challenging!
