Pitchable propellers on pivots have a tendency to glitch out for some reason. Putting the propellers straight will change the handling characteristics of the whole ship though.

could you elaborate on the pivot propeller issue? is there a way I could remove that part or is it necessary? I'd rather just put a few ugly ones on rods sticking out the back of the ship xD

You could check in the microcontrollers for the lights, I might've added an option like that in there but can't really remember. It's made for performance reasons though, having all the lights enabled is very performance heavy.

Make sure you are using the latest version, I fixed issues that were introduced just a couple of days ago that sound just like yours.

There seems to be an issue with buoyancy, where the vessel is just about in the water, when turning it is at risk of flipping or it just sits tilted to the right or left when going straight. Plus you cant start the boat without alarms say low fuel, the engines won't go green with out infinite fuel enabled.

Fixed the issues Fogest, thanks for letting me know. Pushed the last update in a bit of a time crunch, there were some blocks missing to cover off in the altered areas.

Also is there a physics flooder or something in the main area when you enter the ship from the regular deck entrance? I cannot even noclip into this area, and the doors are glitching out. It is acting like there is a physics flooder in this area. I am on medium physics as suggested.

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but when I spawn this in the fuel tanks are not being filled. Even if I try with infinite fuel on the tanks seem to be empty. Not sure if something broke in the latest update you pushed out maybe.All the fuel gauges are showing it is empty and it won't start. Also a fuel low alarm

I've published an update that should make the flipping out less prone to happen, in my testing it just moves around a tiny bit when it's loaded in again rather than flipping out completely. The issue stems from having pitchable propellers placed on pivots - the game really doesn't like this for some reason. The amount of hours I've laid on this......... ugh

the propeller just explodes if you load a save where you're on the ship, so its not very good for long trips. the heaters do not reach the helm seat in the bridge as well, so the helmsman requires a coat or he will freeze to death

Dude, this ship's propeller bugs out every time you save and return to the game, it just leaves the ship suddenly and there's no way to move.

Feel free to modify it for your own wants and needs :) I like the lockers as they provide good storage where you need it and is resilient to heavy weather, but there's nothing stopping you from putting some skylights there yourself!

The update only made some minor changes. New, proper plimsoll marks on the hull, switched out some warning lights in the engine room, some new IMO safety signs...

I'm glad you like her! Refueling the ship is done just aft of the superstructure, between the two doors. The life raft is deployed automatically when the ship sinks. It can also be launched by throwing the life raft container into the sea, where it will automatically inflate. Please note that you need to have the ILR add-on installed in your world for the liferafts to work, they wouldn't be possible without it.

More than I can count accurately haha. But a few hundred hours is probably accurate, counting all the LUA I did specifically for this.

jackriley427 a smoke diver is a crew member who is equipped with fire fighting equipment including a mask and air tank for going into spaces filled with smoke.

The bridge is not waterproof by design, as a result of the XML edited windows. The rest of the ship should be watertight, if you've found any I'd be interested to know which ones. I fixed an issue right after release with a few rooms not being water tight, but that should be good now.

Right now I'm doing some lifetime extension work on the Apollo, which should be finished soon. I've been doing some early sketches of a larger multi purpose vessel, but that is very much just in a concept stage so we'll see where that ends up.

I may also work on something smaller in between, these large vessels take hundreds of hours to make so sometimes you just need a break. Make sure to join the KO Discord if you want to get some sneak peaks and whatnot of my current projects!
