Fun remake! I think the aesthetic looks very cool, though I have to wonder if it would really be readable for me if I hadn't played the original. Thumbs up.

that's completely fine by me, thank you for clarification

@Andy oh ok. I am just not really a techno fan. I am not saying the hammer is bad just that it isn't for me lol

I was being stingy because your comment felt funny to me, that is all

Good work you two.

we got portal 3 leaks before gta 6

@Basil
Yeah, I see it, it's because I extended a platform a little too much, unfortunately. This will be fixed in the update, after the judging is over.

Good visuals but has one obvious unintended solution, you can place a portal behind the cube on the button that deactivates the fizzler, walk behind the fizzler and then place another portal on the funnel. Doing that you are on the correct side of the fizzler and the cube is able to open the exit door.

Looks great, neat puzzle. I also had trouble distinguishing the glass/grating/fizzler.

@Citg Good point, but the portal gun wouldn't fit here. I should probably add the command in the description. Maybe there's a way to check disable it on level only, but I have no idea.

Lovely visuals, maybe don't trigger r_drawviewmodel 0 though- if someone quit midlevel they might not know how to fix it.

@Mattchew Thank you for the kinds words! Yes, the unintended solutions and the bugs will be fixed in the update, after the competition judging ends.

Thank you! I'm sad you feel that way, to me they really don't! I think it might break the puzzle, yes, unfortunately, I forgot to make it unportalable since I put the "emitter" the last minute, but I hope only few people will try to place a portal on the funnel.. seems like a non-intuitive thing to do to me anyways, but this will be fixed.

Very impressive to have a map look so different from Portal 2 aesthetics, but still be readable. Feels like another game, love the look and sound. Cool to have a puzzle as complex as Hookshot get something this nice. Faved!

P.S. with the unintended solutions in the description, i'm assuming it will be updated but currently can't due to the deadline?

super amazing visuals! Though the fizzlers, glass, and grating all kind of look the same. No matter! Great job!

FYI you can put a portal on the ceiling where the funnel is emitting from...not sure if that breaks the puzzle or not?

@bullfrog 😭 I accidentally deleted your comment thanks to butterfingers... The solution is the same, it's just that Dido's map got changed and a few things got tweaked in the process, so I took the newest version bc I liked the revised version better

btw, the original puzzle is called "Hookshot" and it's made by the awesome one and only didokiller!
