Still an amazing ship, at Core 7 this is an insane bargain, should be everyone's first ship

This Is the best Combat CV in the game, It beats all of RE2 content at C9.

Dude, EXCELLENT TUNE in the video.. nice work on the ship too.

@ArtemisRouge ah thanks, I’ve got a lot of ships I need to go take templates of lol
ArtemisRouge  [author] 9 Nov, 2024 @ 9:14am
Tree that's a game bug, not a bug with this particular ship. When you spawn in any ship you now need to save the template, ships no longer have a 'default' template as they should, template must be saved after spawning it in or you will get that bug w/ any ship.

Brought this in last night and think it’s great. I put it on a repair pad and it’s showing a huge list of stuff to repair to original template - is my game bugging out or was the template taken with a lot of extra parts maybe? Wondering if I should run a deconstruct script on it and bring it in again to get a fresh template

Pmota The Shippo is more of a legacy-specific ship, an armor tank, for introductory combat and getting your first Quantum processors. The Badger has way more upgradability and shield slots. The Arcadian would be the 'replacement' / Upgrade choice I'd recommend from the Honeybadger. More storage, larger weapons, more armor, more weapons, more speed.

Artemis, I have been enjoying this VERY efficient ship for quite some time now (upgraded it to core IX, added a bit more shield etc etc). Is your (more recent) Shippo X intended as a almost direct alternative/replacement for this or are they very different ?

You know, I am thankful for your work in a very specific way - I don't have to worry about the most efficient way to build a combat ship, because you already did and you do excel at it :D - Thank you for your work, mate! The Honeybadger is amazing.

just build it and some ammo, tests will folow.
gotta say it has everything needed and nothing over the top, I really like that.

But 'got a silly question: why are the floodlights burried?
Only get two narrow strips of light from those.

@semper_lassus Thanks. I managed to find a few abandoned POIs on my start world that were easy enough (playing solo) to get what I need. And thanks for answering what I didn't ask. I didn't know where to get the quantum processors. Though, they were not to be found on the easy start world POIs.

Such a Violent work of art. Very well done.
With such attention to detail, it seems trivial to mention such a little thing. The motion sensor leading into the Captain's chair needed to be extended to the rear by 1 additional tile to avoid having to step on the ramp to trigger it. Looking forward to more great things from you. Keep up the awesome work.

@thenewpav Easiest place to get xenomaterial from is Abandoned POI's, which you need to farm to get Quantum Processors from anyway.

Extremely agile in combat, does fit the ninja role quite nicely even without ANY upgrades. I am so curious to what can be accomplished if upgraded to core9! Anyone, suggestions ? :) And thank you ArtemisRouge for this excellent design that adds fun AND functionality to the way I play the game (I mean, I'm a lousy pilot, thx for a great ship eheh).

I was going to come in and give great praise for the ship, but then I realized it is ArtemisRouge. When all you do is pump out winners, doesn't praise sort of lose its meaning? So instead, I'll just say.. "I expected nothing less."
thenewpav 9 Sep, 2024 @ 11:40am
Very Nice. What are the best ways to get lots of xenomaterial?

You've mastered this game from a ship to ship combat perspective Artemis . Very impressive build.

Great work as always! I look forward to seeing this beast in action!

Sweet! Thanks for ship and for another great example of what to shoot for as a budding builder!
ArtemisRouge  [author] 7 Sep, 2024 @ 2:36pm
Glad you guys like it :) Let me know how it works for you, if you'd like anything added, etc. I am already close to done on another design for release next weekend, it will be my largest so far for RE2, and will mount the Maximum weapon count in line with the new weapon limits added last week.

Bravo, smaller than the Ballantide! I guess that's the difference in going with lights instead of heavies for the lower surface area requirements as well as cutting down the interior passageways. I was going to ask about access to the adv. shield part compartments but then I realised that the S markings on the underside were inline with the compartments.

Brilliant! If only it would make me a better pilot ... :steamhappy:

Amazing job, as always, dude!
Looks the part again, as well. :D

Nice. Looking forward to clobbering things with this.
