I've noticed that some pawns who fall from the sky (drop pod) can be unlucky enough to die instantly from their wounds rather than just be downed and ready for rescue. This can be especially unfortunate if they're related to a colonist.

good idea of adding this. vanilla rng death on downed is a balanced mechanic of "not having too many prisoners", ce breaks that completely. and this looks like a fit solution

glad you addressed the why would you need this both with and without CE. if death on down is removed or is 0% with CE. good.
