I am in China. Because of the EU blockade. Our chat methods are limited to Steam and email. All the other chat apps you remember. There are no services available in China. Cannot be used.

I just need a model of this turret. I replaced his ammunition. Range rotation speed. Shooting angle.
I want to publish it on Steam now. I want to add you as a friend. Then add it to the list of co producers. Release the MOD to Steam.

Hello. I want to make a giant turret of 11X3X11.
I want to remake the model of the turret.But. I don't know how to make 3D models.
I want to add you as a friend and discuss with you now.
I am now using magnetic railguns instead of shells.
I want to use rectangular columns of magnetic railguns instead of the turret of the model.
Now the turret needs to shoot vertically at a 90 degree angle. But there is some overlap between the models.
This is a version that I have modified. But there is no model authorization. So it was not published on Steam.

@Sunchaser - So in the game code the rotation arc starts a 0 degrees dead center, so it was set to min -140 and max 140. Negative side being left and positive side being right so the total arc was 280. But I changed that to 180 each side so the turret should now rotate 360 degrees.

Or, looking again, "140 degrees to either side"...so does that mean it has a 280 degree arc? Or put more clearly, there's 60 degrees directly backwards where it won't face. Which is a far more reasonable compromise. But at least to me the description is unclear which it is.

140 degree rotation limit...so it's a "WW2 style turret" that is literally incapable of broadside training? I mean, it looks great, and I always appreciate stuff that fits into the vanilla aesthetic/balancing, but that's a pretty huge downside.

@TheRebornAce - Thanks for posting that update and giving it a test run. As for the rotation, it's intentionally set that way to avoid the barrels clipping into objects behind it should someone place it right infront of other blocks.

But was running tests to see if it would actually do that knowing apart of the same grid was there. I will be making some tweaks to the movement range or adding a full range version so players have a 360 turret as well.

First off, very nice turret design. Love the vanilla aesthetic to it. Big plus.

Second off, did some testing with Vanilla+ and I don't really see anything out of the ordinary. At least from what i can see on my end. Maybe I'm lucky? Who knows. But anyways I don't see any major issues when using in parallel with V+, nor is there an issue where in the list of mods it is placed in (first or last in the list). I'm surprised there would be a V+ compatibility issue considering this is a vanilla mod. Especially since there are other vanilla mods made well before V+ existed and are still running fine with it in parallel.

The only thing i did notice is since this turret has a limited azimuth rotation, if a target is sitting inside the "blind" angle, (between +/-40 deg from turret's 180 mark) the turret will make no attempt of targeting until the target. Don't know if that's an actual issue or just a limitation of Keen's coding.

Sorry for the long PSA. Great turret mod overall!

@GunMasterX11 - The creator Fade stated he had no desire to include neither weaponcore nor vanilla+ at this time.

He did mention that he's fine with someone reposting a version of the turret that does include either weapon upgrade. They would just need to reach out to me first.

Matching the vanilla aesthetic is perfect, I was looking for a bigger upgrade but I don't like the ones which clash with the styling of the game.
