This mod is awesome! Any chance it could be made to work with true crawl so I can stay in prone position while firing bolt action rifles and not be forced into crouching stance after each shot?

I agree with g8trr. It would be sick if the regular animation played with low aiming skill, and the proper modded animation played with aiming 6+.

DEVS implemented this feature in B42, Meaning if you're using b42, you will no longer need this mod for bolt actions to be viable.

New update.
SANDBOX option is now obsolete (its left there, but no longer does anything),
Added custom sound for racking, that will be applied to any gun that this mod affects.

@𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮42 It doesn't. Guns have racking animations, which need to start, but don't have to be finished all the way in order to shoot again, the thing that affects it is RecoilDelay which is assigned for each gun and it affects delay between shots. If you enable sandbox option, then delay, if too high, mod will lower it amount that should make it fit more. If a bolt action gun has more than 60 recoil delay, it will lower it to exacly 60, which in my testing with vanila firearms is enough for it to fit to new animation. Your aiming/reloading skill also affects speed of racking and firing, so in higher aiming level you might be able to fire instantly after rack animation is completed. KEEP IN MIND that sounds were made to fit non aimed racking animations, where racking while aiming is usually faster.

Little update:
Yup! Replacing sound files (MSR700Rack and MSR788Rack) with some shorter bolt action rifle racking sound did the trick. Now sound corresponds to an animation :)

Wanted to say half a second at first but thought that it could be closer to a full second xD
So you understood me correctly from the start. Yeah, it's really not a big deal but when you shoot pretty fast with some recoil pads and sandbox option turned on you still can hear a sound of your next shot before racking sound starts xD

@U i read your first message again and you mean that for sound it takes you 3 to 4 seconds for sound to play, or you mean 3/4 as 0,75 second? If first that seems like a bug, for me its about half the second after character racks, then it plays the sound, so its not really big deal.

@U It triggers me too, but sadly it's same sound for racking both when you rack without aiming and with aiming. While not aiming animation is simply longer and sound fits, which is not the case for racking while aiming.

Wanted to ask if anyone else experiencing a delay in sound after racking?
For me racking sound occurs like 3/4 seconds after racking animation is done. Can even make next shot and hear that shot sound before racking sound even starts xD

@kamikazlee I see no reason for it to not work with any of those. It won't break your game/save in any way since i'm only overriding animations for this specific weapon type and animations are from vanila game.

Running after firing with this mod will still cock the bolt, unlike vanilla where I have to then manually tap R to cock the bolt.

I think this should be aiming skill based, similar to how after a certain fitness level your character gets better at exercises.

Only weapons that use "WeaponReloadType = boltactionnomag," which in 99% of cases are in fact Bolt Action Rfiles. Nothing more. Please read description.

@The Bro Stump there is no lever action rifle in vanila game. I just added one to my gun mod that does have different custom racking animations depending if you aim or not.

Nice job on the mod. This does help when playing with Brita's Weapon set. So far the mod seems to run good. I can i suggest that having a motion for using lever action weapons?
