A little bug: when Heavy Weapons animation activated, then switch to pistol, you will find you still hold the MG. Firing pistol now will look like cowboy style Hipfire.

Is anyone else having an issue where his character does not switch from standing the heavy weapon firing position to secondary until you crouch?

I can't seem to get the hang of adding weapons to the mod. I do as instructed: I find the name, I put it in, try to use the weapon and it doesn't change anything. Do you have any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Mmm not a fan of this one, messes to much with how im used to use weapons. I love ur futuristic weapon pack and the exo suit mod, always used heavy mg with the suit to wrack havoc - now cant do that anymore. On that topic with exosuits - wouldnt it make sense that exosuits allows the normal use of heavy weapons? Also i miss an easy disable this mod option

Who do I have to bribe for a carry able .50 caliber? :)

You know, I had a fella named Zango (you may have met him in the ED server, Webknight) who as a proof of concept got a gun to accept ACE's [CSW] ammo packs for .50 caliber ammo. It works beautifully.

Right now it's just some cfg meddling to make an M1919 from Free World Armory shoot .50 cal, but I dream of a mod that will add a full and proper carry able Browning M2 like some mad lad out of Syria.

Further, "additional recoil" is added only to crouching and prone, but not to standing, not sure if it is intentional...sorry for posting twice, just found that out, thx!

Is it possible to disable Aim Down Sight while firing from hip? ADS allows sniping even when stand firing from hip animation, thanks!

@WaraGud have you tried opening the arma 3 launncher and going to parameters> all parameters and setting the parameter files? i had that happen a while ago... factory reset my whole system and redownloaded the whole system via an external harddrive before realizing it was just a save file issue

so, I may just be stupid, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to add other weapons to the system, I'm trying to add the M60 from SOG Prairie Fire as of typing this but I haven't been able to get it right for some reason, can someone please help?

Being able to reload while walking (entirely doable) is the price you pay for not being able to fire these weapons one handed. There must be more dynamic capabilities unlocked for the player before arbitrary limitations are imposed.

Hi. I don't know if it's been mentioned before, but I've always wanted heavy weapons to not be able to be charged while the wielder is moving (walking or running). In real life, it's almost impossible. They would have to be charged in a static position ALWAYS while standing, crouching or lying on the ground. I hope you can make it a reality.

The mod seems pretty cool! Once AI support is added I will deffo add it to the modpack for my ops. It would also be nice to have built-in support for the most popular content mods like RHS and CUP.

PS I found a cool but addmittedly niche use - I've added the Tommy Gun from SOG to the list of weapons and was hip-firing it 1930s mafia style :D

Yeah, I was thinking of using it for MMGs and LMGs, I like the animations as they add character. I will test it and mess with the settings sometime & appreciate that you made it all able to be adjusted.

@Vapemonster its not a nerf mod, it can be if you want to, but otherwise you can disable two settings that nerf stuff. This mod idea was to give hand-held rotary canonns, miniguns and all other weapons that is similar to that proper animations. You can use it for M60, M249 and other weapons, but i dont really see a point of that, but still, its all up to you.

So this is just a nerf to heavy weapons? They already have insane weapon sway because of their high weight + high ammo weight, usually can't carry much ammo, and they tend to have high recoil, bad/no optics options.

The new animation looks cool, but at a glance it just makes anyone with a heavy weapon a liability, unless the server is easy mode Vanilla with all the OP guns/sights in the full arsenal, w/ weapon sway and stamina off.

@Deathstruck seconded. A lighter version would be handy as the current movement speed is a bit too slow and the entry animation a bit to long for a light machinegun
