THANK SO MUCH!!
Zack 28 Nov, 2020 @ 8:39am
This isn't ever getting updated, as the description says. The author posted it, updated it a few days later and never touched it again. Clearly, they don't intend to come back to it.
hackstermatrix 5 Apr, 2020 @ 6:33am
Thank you for doing this!
Jackmino 2 May, 2019 @ 1:55pm
An RT update would need to add colours for the new units, and new colours for the new factions. Do you use the In Game Editor to spawn in units, or do you have to play through the whole game to unlock all of them, just to test
Ihavenothing364 18 May, 2018 @ 5:02pm
will this every be updated?
☆The 45th Flying Pyros☆ 12 May, 2017 @ 11:25am
I've never modded, but what would need to be done to update this for RT?
Red-_-Monkey 21 Feb, 2017 @ 1:17pm
Yeah well... I'm a vetinarian in Africa, I save the lives of endangered animals, do you? (jk I don't haver the time even begin to learn modding, dem vidya's don't play themselves ya know )
SaintDaveUK  [author] 16 Feb, 2017 @ 2:53am
@Red-_-Monkey
Yes. If it was so quick and easy, you would have thought someone else might have made an Rising Tide version by now :)
Red-_-Monkey 15 Feb, 2017 @ 11:01am
Is it really so time consuming to update it?
PhoenixOfArcadia 17 Nov, 2016 @ 8:16pm
Go back and read the description Dave.

"Sorry to say that I have abandoned this mod and won't be updating it for Rising Tide or any future expansion."
Marcus Astronomius 11 Nov, 2016 @ 5:48pm
Will this mod build into all units eventually?
SaintDaveUK  [author] 20 Oct, 2016 @ 5:54am
@drew_west Yeah I was sad to see that Civ6 doesn't have player colours either. I might have to give it a shot...
drew_west 19 Oct, 2016 @ 2:06pm
Looks like you might have to do this mod for Civ 6 XD - what is with the trend of no faction colors firaxis :(
darthmarticus 5 Apr, 2016 @ 3:52pm
On CDKeys you can pick up RT for £10 right now, worth it IMHO.
samuel.handelman 4 Jan, 2016 @ 4:03pm
Second Harmonic Revelations request (although sympathetic to Saint Dave's desire not to pay an extra 25 quid just to get a complete game).
Colt 31 Dec, 2015 @ 12:16pm
@SaintDaveUK I didn't really like Vanilla BE either but Rising Tides makes it a whole lot more like Alpha Centauri. Hopefully if you don't update this for RT, someone else will.
SaintDaveUK  [author] 31 Dec, 2015 @ 12:02pm
@Harmonic Revelations
Sorry. I didn't like BE enough to spend £25 on an expansion.
Colt 31 Dec, 2015 @ 10:30am
Make this Rising Tides compatible, please.
Bluetail 30 Dec, 2015 @ 12:22am
I love how this mod isnt Rising tide compatible, pains me to say that.
Mr Hacha 13 Dec, 2015 @ 12:45pm
Its a good mod, but i have 2 questions:
1. To game developers: ¿Why this mod isnt included in the game? ¿Why not even in the expansion?
2. To this mod developer: ¿Why this mod dont run with others mods?
[COLOR_CYAN]Dead Inside 1 Dec, 2015 @ 5:53am
Great mod! Could you maybe add player building colors too. It would match the units and look better aesthetically.
juanmgpechavez 15 Nov, 2015 @ 11:56am
is this mod RT compatible?
BuffHamster 14 Nov, 2015 @ 11:56am
Da Hamstah abides. Thank You SaintDaveUK for a subtle but none the less great mod. I am glad to hear that.
SaintDaveUK  [author] 14 Nov, 2015 @ 2:31am
@BuffHamster Actually the Rising Tide (and any custom mod) factions gets player colours. No progress on the Rising Tide new units though.
heavyweight1 14 Nov, 2015 @ 1:22am
you should subscribe to the IGE for BE/BERT. they allow you to spawn unit with a couple of clicks.
Medve 27 Oct, 2015 @ 6:55am
Any progress on this mod? Havent been any updates for some times :p
BuffHamster 24 Oct, 2015 @ 9:23pm
FYI: It works in Rising Tide but only for the original Civ:BE units. The Rising Tide units and new factions will not have the Player Color.
Khtugg 22 Oct, 2015 @ 3:44am
I wish you good progress on this mod, SaintDaveUK! I think the default red on purity units looks dreadful.
Wisegor 21 Oct, 2015 @ 4:57pm
does this work in rising tide?
freetheleprechauns 10 Oct, 2015 @ 1:48pm
For the late game units, can't you create a mod that spawns them for you, or one that provides immediate tech advances and production to produce them? Like your own debug environment mod?
drew_west 10 Oct, 2015 @ 5:05am
is this mod finished? or has it been abandoned?
*Crimson-Y 3 Oct, 2015 @ 10:18pm
Been subscribed to this one for a while now, very nice.

I've just checked the mod workshop again today and found the "immersive armies" by Ryika and wondered if they would be compatible since they change different thing but most likely in the same files. Any chance to see them fused together somehow, if they are not compatible I will have to choose, noooooo decision making of utmost importance X_X

Joking aside I'll chose this one cause color coding makes it faster to tell armies apart in a raging war xD
At least until I kcik my butt and learn how to manually mix them. thanks again for this cool mod.
SaintDaveUK  [author] 14 Sep, 2015 @ 12:54am
Are you starting your games via the Mods menu with Player Colour for Units selected?
Richard1757 13 Sep, 2015 @ 5:55pm
No colors changed
InDaBenini 8 Sep, 2015 @ 11:48am
can you make a ciity verson?
rockhounddiva 3 Sep, 2015 @ 12:48pm
yeah, units in Civ V set themselves apart from other civs units by having the color of their uniform based of of their flag
Carnwulf 15 Aug, 2015 @ 2:06am
@regnbagspartiet
the modder abandoned this super awesome mod... So you can wait a long time. Really sad that this function has to be a (half finished) mod and is not in the official game. Thats really embarrassing for Firaxis.
midnattssol 13 Aug, 2015 @ 8:34am
Only waiting for all units...
midnattssol 13 Aug, 2015 @ 8:23am
Thank you!
Sulphuric_Glue 9 Aug, 2015 @ 2:12pm
Use IGE to test later units.
Problem solved.
Oh and by the way, is this automatically applied for civs from mods, or just vanilla civs?
Goliath 31 Jul, 2015 @ 3:43pm
does this clash with other mods? I'm not seeing the colour changes unfortunately - no idea why (loading everything through mods option).
RaiderRaven 13 Jul, 2015 @ 11:09am
I think I might try this out and give it a go. About the game do you have to start a new game, or will it apply to game that all going
Hoddmimir 3 Jun, 2015 @ 8:07pm
It's not too obvious, but it does make a subtle difference and I like it. One small problem I noticed (and this may just be me) is that red and orange are not easy to differentiate unless they are next to each other. :(
Akathikor 11 May, 2015 @ 6:11am
Sweet! Thanks for the quick reply. I´ve been thinking about playing this game again and I wanted to try a custom civ and a few mods, including yours, thanks again!
SaintDaveUK  [author] 11 May, 2015 @ 5:44am
Yes this works with custom civs.
Akathikor 10 May, 2015 @ 3:30pm
Would this work with custom civs? Part of me thinks no but I thought I might as well ask.
freeformsage102 4 May, 2015 @ 3:05am
GREAT.
SaintDaveUK  [author] 14 Mar, 2015 @ 5:36pm
No external download from me, I am only maintaining Steam Workshop.
BlackViper 14 Mar, 2015 @ 5:29pm
Hello, could you please post link for external download?
Avory Lo'Raven 12 Mar, 2015 @ 10:03am
A great mod! Something so simple but makes the sponsers look much better and somewhat more unique!
