Sorry I haven't put much effort into this recently. I was working on some ships for another faction I want to make, then I went on vacation and couldn't find the motivation to go back to modelling when I got back.

I've been doing some testing with these hulls, and they're very interesting. They feel a bit OP right now, due to their volume tank. Could we maybe see a structure health nerf so they'll go down a little faster

I might get around to it eventually but no promises. If I do it'll probably be inspired by the Bellator (the best SSD variant in my opinion).

As of now my plans for the next update will include a couple of fighters and some hangers for the existing hulls. The update after that will add a dedicated carrier and a few more small craft.

After all that I may look into making a dreadnaught

Another thing you could do would be to lean into the star destroyer vibes with built-in ventral hangars (similar to how the vanilla carriers have built-in bays). That would make sense and allow the elector and senator to both have at least limited ship capacity.

you could probably make it work with just lengthening some of the mounts and one of the internal compartments
no clue how difficult that might be though

I probably won't be doing that, as I think I'd have to do a rework of the whole model to make it work. I do have an idea to give the Senator some hanger options though, so it'll probably remain a battlecruiser with limited built in fighter support, as opposed to a full strike carrier.

Have you considered putting a built-in hangar to the Senator for real Venator larping?
you could probably fit like 3-4 light landing pads down the spine, make it a true light/strike carrier, only able to take small craft

Mod has been updated for the carrier patch. No small craft for now. I got ideas but it'll be a while before they're ready.

im super conflicted because on one hand theyre starwars style which is peak but on the other hand the proportions look almost dopey in comparison, not a diss on the quality just thoughts on the style itself. love it though, not trying to hate :steamthumbsup:

Love the design of these cute little star destroyers. In practice, I think they're significantly weaker than their ANS counterparts due to the loss of RPF and Hybrids, though the autoloading 120s are a nice addition.

I'm reluctant to commit to custom munitions (at least for now) as VFX isn't something I'm very familiar with. I do have an idea for another faction that I might end up needing to look into VFX for, but that won't be for a while.

Partially disagree; when you have custom missiles, it means any saved missiles from the faction cause frequent errors when the faction is disabled. Ammo plays nice, though.
