Any chance this can be updated to be compatible with version 4.0 ? At the moment, the most starbase information and buttons are broken when this mod is used, fixed as soon as I remove it.

@shoarmadad you have a conflict disable all your mods but this one and start it. I am playing it with star trek civilization mod and it works.

I wish this was compatible with Star Trek New Horizons mod. becouse this mod really helps with the Star Trek experience. Starbases in the Star Trek universe are mostly muliiple purpose bases. and shows how versatile they can be. Your mod really whould help with this experience.

The problem with this you get the extra slots en modules, but you lose the ability to upgrade your starbase in Star Trek new Horizons mod.

But for the vanilla game I think this is a must to have mod.

No mod that changes starbase slots was being applied in my game and due to my 371 mods (yes, I am a mod junkie) it took some doing but I figured it out, at least for my list. Expanded Gestalts: Forgotten Queens, no matter where it is in the list, no matter which mods, no matter if I build my own patch or if I even change the base game files, somehow only it gets applied. Expanded Gestalts: Forgotten Queens works fine, it just overwrites any change made to the starbase ship type in any (and I tried too many) way, which I have no idea how is even possible, but if anyone is having issues this may be the problem.

So, I don't understand why you have bugs because for me, the mod works correctly, I added a 3rd image, this is what I see when I click on a starbase !

I did several tests, first by loading only my mod in my "mod" folder, then by loading only the workshop mod. And it works !

I think you have a conflict with other mods !

Please note that I used the new ORIGINAL file corresponding to patch 3.14, and then I modified it to customize the appearance of the modules and buildings boxes of the starbase in order to be able to build up to 12 modules and 18 buildings, all this works correctly for me !

Regrettably, version 3.14 introduced a bug with the mod, causing the dock view to overlay other views. I hope you can fix it.

if you see like main ui merged with shipyard's one for 1.14.*
go to mod's file --> interface --> starbase_view.gui
go line 724 where it says name = "shipyard_tab" and change it to name = "ship_build_queue_tab"
why would they change the name of container? No idea but works for me

Finally, I didn't manage to assign more slots to Player Only !

I'll keep looking, but I don't think I'll be able to, the starbase coding may not allow it...

Number of slots reduced for the Outpost (1st Starbase) !

1. As I wrote in my description, if other mods modify the files "starbase_view.gui" and "00_starbases.txt", your other mods and mine are very likely not to work properly.

Either you eliminate some of them, or, if you are able, you do a "merge " of these files manually.

..\interface\starbase_view.gui
..\common\ship_sizes\00_starbases.txt

If your other mods don't modify these two files, then my mod is not the culprit, if something is not working in the game.

2. For the base starport, yes indeed, it may be a bit excessive, I can reduce the number of buildings and modules. I will make a new version in this sense.

3. For my mod to work properly and when I do an update (as well as in other contexts...), I recommend you to unsubscribe and then resubscribe.

4. You can check which mods modify the files of all mods by going to ...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\<mod steam workshop ID>

5. I'll also look into orbital rings soon.

Mod works PERFECTLY if you do not mix it with others that modify starbases. I even try it with ST New Civ and works.

i like the idea but i worry that if the base level outpost has slots teh AI will abuse that and lag the game cause that's a lot of extra starbases with data

Anything is possible, I will make several versions:

1. One with vanilla outposts (if I understood correctly).
2. One with extra slots only for the player.
3. One with slots for all empires, AI included.
4. Anf finally, a last one with outposts without extra slots for AI empires.

Is there a setting/way to use this mod without outposts having slots? As much as I like the concept, outposts having slots too feels like a bit much. Otherwise great mod!

I can also make it so that only the player can build these extra modules and buildings. AIs will not have these extra slots.
