Please let me know if you have any trouble with it.

Could you make a "2 tiles away" ?

This won't let me settle cities any closer than 5 hexes away, not 4. I had to double check to make sure i subscribed to the right mod, not the 5 hex limit mod. Nope, definitely subscribed to this one, but cities cannot be built four hexes away, only 5 or greater.
BxxxxxBxxxxxB not BxxxxBxxxxB. FWIW I'm playing Rising Tide.

does this mod still work?

Works perfectly, as designed. It's great to not have AI spam cities everywhere. Thanks!!

I am going to try this mod. I love the concept. Hopefully there are no bugs with this mod since the patch. After using/testing, I will rate and post an issues I run into and hopefully be able to eliminate the possibility of it being from other mods I'm using. Very thankful a mod like this was created - awesome. Thanks!!!

How does this interact with the patch? Apparently, the distance minima for stations are different than for other things, and are different for outposts than for actual cities which seems strange to me ( http://www.civilization.com/en/news/2014-12--civilization-beyond-earth-fall-update-now-live/ )

4 is good for Citys, but way too many for Stations. I find the 3 tile minimum as it is leaves too many unobtainable resources in areas surrounding Stations.

I tried 5 tile first. But that seems to hinder the AI too much, even when spawned nearby. So I will try what results this produces.

ya i think 4 is better for me then 5 or 6. thou differ players may seek differ based on their method of play 8)

me like to be able to xepand and try to keep my cities close but not too close so i able to get most resources in my area. as well keep ai away. 6 tiles away seem too much for me, i don't want aliens passing in middle. 5 tiles away seems good, thou i think i am got to focus on on culture and growing to get more territory.4 might me better for me, might try that 8)

doubt it, i have deleted the mod and game works fine now, no crashes

The mod doesn't do anything that would cause your game to crash, so it's probably something else that's causing your problems.

game keeps crashing after certain moment when you have like half of the map conquered. this is the only mod i use.

I don't see how this mod changes anything...

This mod also made Earthling Settlers min 4 tiles apart.

McGavin  [author] 30 Oct, 2014 @ 2:41am
My fault. I fixed it.
