Are there plans to incorporate the new models from SPEX?

Thanks for the awesome Mod! Could you tell me how you did the configs for SPE? I currently try to made an SPE retex by my self but I got an error in the config and have no solution on that.

American soldiers in North Africa mostly wore a mixture of the early war wool uniforms with or without the jacket. You may see some HBT uniforms as well but they were not widely issued yet. You should be fine. The U.S. didn't really have a specialized desert uniform like the British, the Germans, or the Italians.

does it make sense to take regular USA soldiers from spearhead as enemy faction or do they differ from look in africa ?

@MF DOOM there's literally three mods made from the dlc covered in swastikas

IIRC the Wehrmacht didn't receive any panzers with schürzen in Africa, due to the last shipment of tanks to Tunisia landing in March of '43 and schürzen being adopted in April, and the lack of PTRD & PTRS rifles in the British Army. Either way though this is a great collection of assets for the Germans on the southern fronts.

if i may ask, where did you find the original textures for the uniform and helmets? as far as i know there are only templates for the m43 uniform and m42 helmet

Screenshots are taken on Sefrou-Ramal from the Western Sahara CDLC.

The gaiter boots were chosen as a facsimile for the canvas boots used, which could not be portrayed well as there is no model for them in SPE. FSJ of the Ramcke Brigade did not jump during their North Africa and generally just wore Luftwaffe tropical uniform, and no smocks were used. You can see this in photos from the period. I would like to possibly add smocks with tropical uniforms under, but they will not be replacing the loadouts of FSJ units in this addon

Amazing stuf, would be cool to have some of the other 1940 uniforms like with boots, unrolled, buttoned up and stuff for the regular soldier. Conditions were always a little strange so it's not out of the realm, plus Buckle boots weren't as common so eh.

I like Spearhead. It works even though it doesn't play well with others. So keep it going it's a good thing. I use it with the RIS packs.

No, most likely not. It is already possible to portray the US Army in North Africa with Spearhead. They used HBTs and wool service uniforms, and tanks were not re-painted in any desert colors.
