They basically act like early stugs with less armor
I have my own personal version that doesn't need valour but I don't own the assets and do not have permission to uploud assets of valour in non-submodule format.

I know you don't plan to bring a new country when the mod is in full version, but at least Italy or Yugoslavia, which is your Kaiserreich version in mini form (the Balkans in your lore) for a proper Kaiserreich 1 vs 1.
Also, if the countries in the Balkans are not against the Danube Federation in your lore, it would not be bad to add them as auxiliary/volunteer units. Of course, whatever you see fit.
In my mind if Austria-hungary did exist and federalized, the Soviets would have probably pulled them and the polish together with the french, that relationship should bleed over to WW2 when the Nazis wanted Austria and the Sudetenland. So in my mind WW2 started much earlier but the soviets and the Germans probably wouldn't have betrayed each other so early either. I still think a combined polish and Danube coop would lose against a soviet and German coop. That's why I am planning on late war Danube to be an exile force equipment list once the common wealth DLC drops.
Its inspired by that mod and is my favorite nation to play in that mod but I found that its best not to think too hard about it.
So, if the Danube Federation was using French, British and American weapons and vehicles after the Great War, it seems like something happened in lore.
More additions to functionality right now than content. For content, I want to wait for the Commonwealth DLC, I am planning on making late war a mix of UK and US lend lease.
I might add the Sherman III, FIrefly and Universal since I got the airborne DLC for now though, maybe add a few of the french guns from the finland DLC just to pad out the arthy roster.
So yeah until the common wealth DLC this will probably kinda the same, I might tweak the infantry tree a bit.
Also new DLC crashes the game when using this mod. I will try to fix it over the weekend.
You are free to do what I do though and manually merge mod files together into one single custom mod.
I find that if you stitch it together properly it becomes much more stable. Its a bit of work though and doesn't always work.
I am not sure, it might be another mod that is incompatible with it. I have only ever played with it with valour.
Which units in particular did you spawn in? It might be a .def file error I have not seen.
Spsw/L-180-S is definitely a late war vehicle.
Penetrating 71mm, firing rate as fast as AA.
If armored vehicles come to the research tree in the future, Spsw/L-180-S can be taken to later stages.
The same issue applies to HQ Squad.
2 snipers, signalers, 2 officers and trucks. But considering that the mode is new, there is no problem.
As someone who likes to use Madsen and Madsen Tripod, I have a suggestion.
There is no problem with the Infantry Madsen, but the limited magazine capacity of the Madsen Tripod creates a problem.
I am aware that the magazine capacity will not increase unless the model of Madsen changes, but maybe the damage or something similar can be increased.

Since I tried different setups first, I haven't been able to try the late period infantry yet. But I tried all artillery, AA, AT and vehicles except mortars.
For bug:
The only bug I have found so far is that the Smoke Canister of "LT-PZW M34-IV CKD-WIESS" is not working.
For balance:
H39/40 M.40 Hotchkiss reload time seems a bit long. It is very slow, especially when compared to Somua and LT-PZW series tanks.
