you should make a mod for only SMAC civs, nothing from vanilla.

Hey Flizehh. I dont know if i told you before, but your mod doesnt work well with th e player colours mod for units. Because all of your factions are white at the border, white colour gets added to the unit colours. Maybe you want to make the border colour (which getsadded to the units) a little bit different. For example a darker blue for university, or a darker red for spartan ect. This would make your mods work nice with the the popular colour for units mod, which i use myself by the way. Greetings!

You know why would the Devs of Civ not implement water-cities! I MEAN COME ON! They could look into underwater improvements! If Alpha Centauri showed anything it would be that, water-cities!

Maybe if we all complained enough they could look into it.
In any case it is awesome to have the faction names in Civ regardless of limitations, I saw the quotes from Alpha Centauri on the WS, will it work with this collection?

Yeah there are water cities in SMAC, I'm not sure how easy that would be to do but I have an idea of how (the city is just a building that can be built in the water away from actual cities/other buildings). I don't know if you could make an only-water faction though. I also read that in BE you can't edit the terrain itself (to add land/water), only the features (add/remove things like forests/miasma).

How could an Aquatic Faction be made? Svengard would be a real challenge. I remember maps filled up with cities on both land & sea. Plus the formers cannot lift up new land or level it or add ocean.

I definitely did, thanks :D Hopefully as my modding skills improve I can try to make the factions as good and as close to Alpha Centauri and Alien Crossfire as I can!

Alpha Centauri had 7 factions and the upgrade Alien Crossfire had 7 more.
From Alpha Centauri you are missing Sister Miriam Godwinson & Brother Lal (I forgot his first name, but the intro said "Get off my property you peace loving SOB"
Alien Crossfire had: Prophet Cha Dawn, Prime Function Aki Zeta, Datajack Cinda Roze, Forman Domai, Captain Ulrik Svengard & Two Alien Factions: Guardian H'minee & Conquerer Marr. Alien Crossfire was a vast improvement on the origional game & added new native life as well (Locusts of Chiron were my favorite). I hope you find this helpfull. Please investigate. I have played more hours of Alien Crossfire than any other game in my life & I had over 4000 hours on Civ 5.

I haven't completed all of the factions yet. I'm focusing on the base-game factions first which should be done in a few days, and then the Alien Crossfire factions.

Where is Datajack Cinda Roze?
