For what it's worth, I'm now 50 turns into an old world campaign, using this + lily's overhaul, and outside of the random issue with the farms that fixed itself it's been working fine. I think the mod is actually compatible with Old World and.

that sounds like an old world issue. a patch for the Old world mod doesnt exist yet, until it does these two mods probs wont work together

Edit to last comment: Problem fixed itself after several turns. Super weird! Thankfully it seems to be working now. Also just to ask: What's the problem with this mod and old world? I'm playing it right now and everything seems to be working fine, outside of the weird bug where farms had -50% income for the first several turns.

So I'm super confused on the farms, and maybe I'm just running into a compatablity issue: But for some reason, all the farms have a built in -50% income modifier. This means they all produce far less thank the industry building. I'm playing on Old World, if that maybe is a known issue?

No pans atm for 'New' stuff. next update will make chivalry numbers to be at parity with lilys overhaul.

Lilys bretonni unit pack mod adds polearms with shields.

ah, so thats why some of the mods I run cant work in multi... btw, any future plans for the mod? Foot Squire variants? a upgrade to the Foot Knight's building? or are plans a surprise?

@nova Squires have anti infantry already so i did not want to double up on a unit that has it. instead, Ive made kotr footies stats more similar to chaos warriors.

@Jaccez The toggle is nice but when u play bretonnia as much as i do you kind of get sick of that micro after a while lol

'upgraded lance formation' is my answer to reducing micro later in a campaign (when you start getting lots of knights) and to make the Chivalry bar mechanic just a tiny bit more exciting.

Also i just like having lance on for the visual as its one of the few things unique to bretonnia units

Knights of the Realm on Foot. Finally I found a mod for it... sad they don't get anti-infantry, damage dealer or both though... Is it for balancing?

I get that it's not your mod's fault. But still, it would be very nice to have the option to toggle the formation and choose when to use it. But in any case, I do enjoy your mod and thank you for making it.

This is an issue with the lake guard mod as he has mistakenly tagged his foot knight infantry as 'brt_horse_knights'

Could you please change the upgraded lance formation to toggleable? I'm using Lily's All in one and Bretonnian Royal Lake guard mods as well and this makes it so that all the knight units on foot also go into the now forced wedge formation.

Really good mod, sadly the changes to how farms work means it breaks some of the other Bretonnia mods vis-a-vis their recruitment of peasant units.

@Mama Lance formation upgraded is supposed to be passive and so the normal button to toggle it is gone.

@Bear im sad to hear that but there is not much i can do about it. MP just doesnt like mods in general and as far as i know it likes mods with scripts the least (and in my own experience map mods too). You could maybe try with just dukes or just BB so there is fewer scripts going on.

The upgraded lance formation appears as a passive on the unit card but can not be enabled in battle so after tier 3 chivalry there is no button above units to select it, I m playing with Dukes of Bretonnia and Lily s All in one plus the compatibility mods for both

So just wanted to let people know, me and a buddy had a bunch of mods (100) and got constant incompatibility errors, as soon as we removed blessed bretonnia, dukes of bretonnia and the mod that joins them we got no more problems, just wanted to give a heads up.

You should now be able to confed the other lords now as Alberic however only on a new game.

I will TRY to script in the ability to confed with a ongoing campaign but not sure if its possible atm

@Snotwasabi It seems that I'm not able to confederate other Bretonnian factions as Alberic, I have all DLC and FLC activated, the button is just not there. I tested it with Repanse and she is able to do confederations without problems.

So, I only tried loading this one with lilys all in one mod as well as the compatability submod, in the order specified inthe submod description, but it just crashes to desktop. Is that because all three are outdated according to the Launcher?

Hello, I'm currently playing Bretonnia and noticed that the foot knights have bronze shields, is this intentional? Men-At-Arms shields have a 55% missile block chance (silver/metal). I'm guessing this was inherited from the mounted knight variant? Many Thanks!

Repanse and alberic both dont have the unification technologies that is intentional. I am not certain but i am pretty sure you can confed the other lords the old fashioned way though diplomacy as Repanse but only if you have the original bretonnia FLC from warhammer 1

I've noticed when playing the Chevaliers de Lyonesse that they have no confederation tech research available. is that a bug or did i miss something? i love the changes but it hurts that my favorite faction cant unite bretonnia

ANOTHER UPDATE:

Should now be able to convert between farms and industry the same way cathay can convert its yin & yang buildings.

Farm income climate modifier instead adds +20% bonus to farming income instead of the whole portion.

Another Update:
Questing vow. Pledge/Troth to Protect - have added Tomb Kings and lizardmen to the list of legendary lords you can defeat to earn the vow.

Fay enchantress can unlock unique items that can customize her spell selection.
Fay finally has the new ability 'Spiteful Glance' (from tabletop) unlocked lastly from her unique skill tree.
fixed a wrong vanilla icon fay had in her skill tree (Lady of the land)

4th Skill in lords skill tree reworked from defence buildings to reinforcement range buffs.

Toned down peasant cap bonus from main settlement chains by about 3.
T4 Barracks has some minor bonuses.

Things i forgot to mention in the previous update:
Paladins have mentor (how they still not have it after 3 years is crazy)
Apothecary has growth to adjacent provinces
Smithy factionwide armor bonus reduced to 1
Table Top caps compatibility added.

Kept the t4 barracks around for compatibility with other mods. There are plenty of unit mods, including lily's that use it still.

perhaps we can add some simple buffs to the t4 barracks so it isnt a paper weight if you dont use any unit mods.

Would you be able to remove the tier 4 royal barracks now that it does not require Lily? It's not a big problem or anything, but the build notification for an upgrade that no longer does anything gets a tad annoying the longer the game goes on.

Try without the Bertrand mod. The shipbuilding in BB & the Knights of Oregano mods work fine together. Bertrand however seems to cause issues for me.
