i had a normal existing world that i had that then added wandering zombies to, and the difference was staggering, so good.
then raised the tick rate by a little bit since the mod recommends it to avoid server bandwidth problem(?), didn't notice much of a difference.
then added this mod, and notice zombies were being really stupid and not behaving in swarms like they used to. removed this mod & lowered the tick rate back to default levels and now they are. So I will put this mod back & see if it was the tick rate that makes such an enormous difference despite only small adjustment.
@jimmy hoglet the world it should work as long as those tiles are vanilla, for any non-vanilla tiles you will have to expand the tile list yourself
@alfie kek
@Clam Slamwich mayhaps
@~KawaiiOverload~ i believe in you
@✪ Tax thanks, even though it is a far cry from what is coming. Yes this is possible, but would be a performance hog, which I'd like to avoid
Is it possible to make the zeds have an attacking animation against the fences, like they already have against windows and doors?
Love when modders turn B41 into a frankenstein with B42 features! Really, I do.
@Mesrszmit technically yes, but I can't tell how good the performance would be
@CallMeBilly.exe CPU is the real bottleneck, there is some game settings which have to be set certain way regardless of your PC specs:
UI Offscreen Rendering - ON
UI Rendering FPS - not higher than 30
Texture Compression - OFF (if you have 3gb+ of GPU memory)
Tiered Zombie Updates - ON
Lighting Updates - not higher than 30
Blood Decals is the biggest fps killer, but it looks cool, I disable it in MP
Also make sure "Threaded optimization" is OFF in nvidia control panel for PZ
@Scroobles McDoodle this mod has different approach, there is no performance impact for those who doesn't attack zombies stuck behind the fences, and even then it will be minimal and only to the player who does it
@Togna
I used to use that one on my server, but I found that it was way too check-heavy and drastically reduced performance across the board.
