Guys, and originally Jellyfish; Thank you very much for the (continuation) of this mod. It definetely has it quirks, but i found ways to work around that (using some of drongo's mods for resupply and entering heli's etc). It is still the best and one of the few platoon leader simulators out there!

Yeah, mod is straight up broken. Now I can't even order my troops anymore. I try to tell them to defend a position, but the little menu that appears in the top right to tell you how to do the order flashes for a very small amount of time and disappears. No matter what I press, the command will not go through. Stay away from this mod unless it gets updated.

Mod also doesn't work in telling AI troops to enter vehicles. It just keeps saying there is nothing to transport them when there is.

This mod makes no sense. I can't tell my troops to attack a location or go to a location because it's an infantry only task? That is so dumb. Needs to be fixed. You should be able to tell vehicles to attack a location or go somewhere.

When I try and get a unit to move, the 'Select Transport on Map' part of the screen shows up for a millisecond and then closes. Same with 'Unload' or things like that

Is there a way to properly do the load/extract and unload/insertion options? I can get a squad to load into the helicopter, but when I try unload/insertion the helicopter flys to the point, but doesn’t land.

my mod is not an enhancement apart from allowing teamswitch to work, and also adding the high command module automatically to missions that dont have it. So it will be used together with mods like this one.

@Bendy, nice mate... I am not much of a scripter or anything but to be honest I do believe that if the HC persist when you teamswitch (which I believe it should not), then it should be pretty simple. If it does not persist... Then... maybe an EH will help?

Anyways... I will wait for your mod and I do hope that @Tally and @Komodo will continue the development of this one since it is missing a lot of functionalities!

@A. Ares you are right. It's the same for vanilla High Command also. However I just fixed it and I will release a mod that can be used in conjuction with any mods that use High Command. It was a lot of mucking around, it took me a whole day as the documentation for High Command including the code functions is very sparse. I actually unpacked some of the Arma game pbo's and used AI to read the files to figure out a solution. It involved a bit of hacking icons on teamswitch etc, but it works fine now. Mod coming out tmro, will be called "High Command Fix" or somethign

@Bendy, it is possible that the group you were before the team switch, is not "passed" to HC Command... (Same stands for other similar mods...)

BUG: doesn't work with teamswitch. After you teamswtich to another group, your previous group will not repond to waypoints anymore

How do i set up this mod with Leopard's all in one command menu ? It worked few times and no i got no response when i try to use high command ctrl+space

The mod is great but is this compatible with ACE medical? doing CCP the medics attempt to heal the injured uncon soldiers but they are not revived

@piggypotpie some of the functionalities of the mod are not implemented (do not know if they will be or the mod is abandonded). To do some more things than issuing movement orders, you have to make sure that some key-binds are defined (set). As @Nosy mentioned 3 posts down, you have to make sure that you have set the "Open Menu" key-binds! Use these to issue some complex orders or do other things!

As I said though, keep in mind that not all options actually work (unfortunately)!

There isn't a readme file. I'm not sure hoe to issue complex commands. I can only issue move commands. no variety in the move command. Am i missing something?

I have been able to get most things to work on this mod thanks for reviving it. Main problem i haven't been able to solve it when trying to remove high command squads it gives an error. So there is no way to remove high command squads during a mission from what i'm seeing so for example if i accidentally add the wrong squad to high command i'm stuck with them until they die.

TO USE THIS MOD:

In EDEN EDITOR:

Place a Commander high command module (Systems(F5)>Modules>Other>High Command - Commander) and sync it to your player.
Create squads or use premade squad compositions (F2) to place units you want to control.
Place a Subordinate high command module (Systems(F5)>Modules>Other>High Command - Subordinate) and sync it to the squad leaders. (You may need a separate module for each squad; untested.)
Sync all Subordinate modules to the Commander module.
Optional: Use mods like Leopard's All-In-One Command Menu to set this up dynamically in-game.

In SETTINGS>Controls>Keyboard>Show>Command:

Ensure "Switch Command Menu" is bound (default: "Left Ctrl+Space").

IMPORTANT: Check that "Open Menu (Move)", "Open Menu (Target)", etc., are bound. These were blank for me, which blocked access to PLATOON menus from the demo.
Hope this helps troubleshoot the setup!

This is by far the best High Command mod Ive tested. Only issue it is not Ace compatible medical wise. Any chance of adding a CBA option for compatibility?

@Tally, not sure if this is a bug but when i send a group to get into an APC then have the apc apart of a convoy and if its engaged because i use LAMBS infantry units dismount. I no longer can control that unit on HC, only see the marker

Hold Fire seems to be broken, units will engage spotted enemies even when you set the unit to Forced Hold Fire/Stealth in Eden and or via menu. Tested with mod only/no DLC loaded

@Tally & @Komodo thank you for the rewrite and updating this mod. It seems though that it is not 100% MP Compatible. There is a chance that I have setup something wrong but it seems that some functions do not work on a Dedicated Server Environment.

And explaining:

I have set all the ArmA 3 Modules up with Commanders and Subordinates. Tested in SP, Editor Local Host and Local Host and everything works (I believe) as intented to. But in Dedicated Server Environment, most of the "Task" functions seems to not working. The order is given but the group does absolutely nothing.

To be honest though, I really do not know if the HC modules were built for Dedicated Server Environment in the first place but... I had to report that!

I have a question, I have an OPFOR group, and if i split it, they turn into BLUFOR, and the other AI starts shooting at them, is there a way to stop this, love the mod though, i've had a lot of fund with it, and thanks for updating it, since the OP hasnt updated it himself yet

Hi! I tested this to learn to mod and i managed to get almost every feature to work, but the uav recon and medevac were to two that did not work for me. Do they require some special setup to work?
