This is really cool. Something similar to this with a few longer distance ranges would go really hard. Out to 1-1.5km ish. Might do it myself eventually but if you're interested it'd be cool to see from you.

Only thing missing is a fud range master that shits his pants if you do more than 20 Rounds a minute

Hi Dutch, I was not able to replicate this locally. Sorry, I have not seen this before with other maps so I am not sure where you could begin with troubleshooting it. There may be a conflicting mod or you might want to try setting the Hide Objects module as 'Operate Locally'

We're having an issue with hiding objects. Often (I'd say 90% of the time) it does not properly hide the buildings. We've tried both the Hide Object module and Edit Terrain Object (as Hidden).
Launched the mission directly (as the first mission in the server) - No change.
Switching missions from 1 to this one - No change.
Even when we hide only 1 object, still happends. No other map we run has this problem so I'm not too sure how that can be resolved. :)

Fantastic map, i love anything set in North America. Im also getting an issue where the ground at a distance is this teal/blue color, are you working on a fix for this?

Very small area. Maybe you could make a bigger sat or add decals with details?

Hi Mallekip, thank you for the kind review! You were spot-on about the performance issue, I attempted to fix it with an update by disabling outside terrain synthesis, and it ran better locally but I can't know for sure without some more eyes on it. Let me know if it's still running poorly if you look at it again. Thanks again

What a terrain! Hats off to Brominum for this.

The incredibly small grid size means you barely see the angles in the terrain. The inclines are so detailed you are LEANING your character between them to see enemies. The attentively placed bushes, parking bumps, and mushrooms(!) have no alignment problems, and look like an actual place. And the careful coloring of satmask, ground textures, and foliage means that everything blends together at different distances. This is the most realistic looking "terrain" in Arma 3, in my opinion.

This density and realism also means that spotting enemies is so much harder here. I set up a few infantry skirmishes with my squad vs a few enemy sentries on randomized patrol. Really tense stuff.

There is a major drawback to all of this. This terrain does, n-o-t, run, well. It is probably the worst performing terrain second to "Entropy" by The Paramedic on the Steam Workshop. But this will do fine with an i7 processor (or equivalent) from the last few years, if you limit your view distance to a maximum 500 meters. There is so much stuff that you will not notice the view limit. There are scripting commands to force this on players, so they can also play this in your missions.

Using any kind of vehicle is of course, a joke, when your character can run across everything in 2 sprints.

So, bravo! But be warned before you make missions with this.
