I agree magazine armor would be difficult to penetrate, a few things need to be taken into account. As humans, our brains put limitations on what our bodies can do. I think our bite force can be 3x more powerful, but would cause damage. As an undead being, these limitations would not exist. That's why you see in media, zombies just ripping people apart with ease. I took this into account when deciding the resistances along with consideration to the parts that would be exposed in between coverage.
I compromised by adding an option to double up on magazine armor. Add more protection at the cost of mobility.
