However, you could always go into this mod's folder and delete the Ratkin patches if you want the other changes.

@Mongshal Yes. This mod is intended to add Biotech support to the base HAR versions of race mods, not the xenotype conversions. I do not use those myself.

I Think 'Ratkin Gene Expanded' mod is not compatible whith this mod
whith this mod, Ratkin's gene is fix to baselinere

is there no other way but to give up adding Ratkin's genes?

Rather than "HAR parts", a pawn can either be Human or a HAR race. HAR races are not parts that can be customized - you either are or aren't. Biotech xenotypess, on the other hand are more customizable, due to them being more... "genetic augmentations" of an existing species, than a race themselves, in the context of Humanoid Alien Races.

Ahhhh okay! So i assume it affects only pawns that spawns in but not the pawns who already have Har parts when they shouldn't be? If so i'll keep an eye out for any races that spawned in with those Bunny hears when they shoulden't be. Thank you so much for working on this!

It shouldn't matter where this is. Most of what it does are patches, which are loaded last anyway.

Where in the mod order should this be. I have HAR, Maru, and Rabbie the moonrabbit mods in my mod list and I am seeing this well before the above listed mods in RimSort. does this need to be placed after the mods?

That was a temporary change I included to debug my changes. I accidentally pushed it for a few hours before realizing my mistake. It should already be fixed, but you might have to resubscribe to the mod to make steam download the latest update.

The move speed of the buns has been adjusted to be unusually slow compared to the original , is there an intention behind this?
I believe they were supposed to be a fast-footed species...?

I assume you're talking about the Dragonian mod that adds the race as a xenotype, and not the one by Roo. If that's the case, I can't help you. The purpose of this mod is to fix HAR races that are negatively effected by Biotech, not to fix Biotech xenotypes. (The best fix is to just disable them and play with HAR races instead imo)
If you are talking about the mod by Roo, this request is still outside of the scope of this mod, but I can try to have a look and maybe upload a separate mod that fixes it.

is there a way this mod could fix the Dragonian mods? the supposedly biotech safe dragonian mod doesnt use the right heads if you have any sort of facial animation and the mod author for it basically blows people off about it. so im curious is this kind of thing would fix it?

That's exactly the issue this mod fixes. I've just finished the Bun patch, should work. Please let me know if it doesn't.
Essentially, HAR races have a config that allows them to be immune to certain genes, and a lot of HAR races don't have it set up. Buns are not supposed to be able to also be impids, anthrosonae or any other visually distinct xenotype. I've set up the config for Buns now so that they should only spawn as baseliner, but I might have missed some things, especially if anthrosonae uses custom gene tags.

Humanoid Alien Races allows race mods to bypass the biotech forced body by way of a gene blacklist that prevents those genes from being assigned to those races. Any gene can be added to the blacklist and it really should be a thing the race's dev themselves adds, but as you can see a lot of modders don't take the time to set it up. I guess it also doesn't help if you don't have biotech.
Looks like Ponies of the Rim already found their solution.

I'll look in to it but that sounds more like a bodyaddon issue which would be outside of the scope of this mod. You should report that to the Kangaroo dev.

ive noticed an annoying issue where the kangaroo species will randomly just loose their ears for no reason lol any chance of them getting some love?

I know that Ponies of the Rim has a serious problem with forced Biotech body types causing a render error (there are no alt body shapes for them), which makes pawns invisible. I know some other mods "fix" this by getting rid of Biotech's alt body type changes, but this does things like making Hussars and the like have normal-sized bodies.
