yeah this is a good war paint
maybe use misfortunates' green and textures, the green you're using feels too punchy in contrast to the more dulled colors of the war paint

the green feels a bit flat and empty I feel like it could use a bit more work to help it out.

Like keep the texture but maybe give it a slight gradient of different green hues to work with perhaps.
