Alright can't wait for those to come into Transport fever 2 I might use the 4200 and 5205 class 2-8-0T's on like coal trains and maybe use the 7200 class 2-8-2T on mainline or branch line freight

@H&W 38 Trainz - GWR 2-8-0T 4200 & 5205, GWR 2-8-2T 7200 - Heavy freight tank engines will be soon. Hypothetical stuff is not something I'd do, interesting as it is.

I wonder what engines could be next of GWR? 4-6-0's or 4-6-2's I did hear that the 2900 saints. 4900 halls, 6959 modified halls, 6800 granges and 7800 manors were built but 8000 or cathedral pacific class was going to be built under Hawksworth, but how ever the design never was constructed, rumor has it that Hawksworth's 1000 or County class was the test prototype for the 8000 class.

Lovely model JK. Just wondering, where did you get the brakevan in one of the pictures?

Hey dude, glad to see you back. Your works looks amazing as always.

Nice to see some more GWR locos, especially some more early ones! Hope you will do some more early ones so we can start GWR maps from 1850.

Thank you, JK - another superb set of locomotives! Your work is greatly appreciated. It really feels as if your collection of GWR locos now provides something for every type of train. The only slight gap - perhaps - is for the really heavy expresses. The Castle is brilliant but struggles somewhat on the heaviest trains. I'd love to see a King one day! No rush, though - I will get many hours of enjoyment out of this latest collection! Thanks again!

thats ok like i said i as just wondering i had little doubt youd go for it its a monumental task for sure but the note "But it's not something I'd do, I'm afraid, as there's a lot of others I'd do ahead of it" gives me the impression your working on other GWR loco's or redo your older stuff.

@Bocaan - Thanks. I've come across it and it's an interesting concept. But it's not something I'd do, I'm afraid, as there's a lot of others I'd do ahead of it.

would you be interested in making the proposed GWR 4-6-2 Cathedral Class supposed to have been the GWR's responce to the rival companies 4-6-2 locomotives and there second attempt after the Great Bear failure. it would have been built around 1941/1942.

there are pictures of this fictional GWR pacific as also Caladonia Works made a replica for Train Sim World 2022 stats wise it as estimted to have a tractive effort of 40,300 lbf and a boiler pressure of 250 psi putting it slightly better than the A3 class which was 30,362 lbf and 220 psi

im not asking for this by any means im simply asking that if you would dare to go big could this be project worthy of your time? either way im a big fan of your work being a huge GWR fan myself and i used every one of your mods in my games.

its good to see you putting new stuff on and i hope to see more of your magic in future ;)

yours sincerely (this is here for politeness sake)

Thanks all for the appreciation.
@aqualls - In terms of engines, that group is the logical progression for another big project (same as in TpF). But I've multiple smaller things to finish (that have been part done >1.5 years) before I start anything big. So probably not soon.
