Sorry but I haven't been using the mod recently and I have my other mods to look into, so idk when I will update it; in a meantime if anyone would like to do an "unofficial" update, feel free to do so, just give me credit on steam page or something.
Cardolam 30 Apr @ 2:35am
@AzoorFox

For you it comes on 01/01/2026.

UPDATE WHEN???????????????????
Cardolam 2 Mar @ 4:04am
@macintosh1257

Yes, very useful!
Mightus  [author] 1 Mar @ 8:01am
I honestly haven't been using it myself recently... so idk
macintosh1257 28 Feb @ 7:02pm
Is this still useful?
Mightus  [author] 30 Jan @ 8:48am
Hey, so as I said, I made a small mod that should make governors less likely to start wars (without overwriting any mechanics in major way).
If you guys decide to test it, I would greatly appreciate if you told me about your impressions of how it affects the game, since it is hard to test, because it might be hard to tell if it works by myself. Although I've added it to my ongoing game when Byzantines pissed me off with crawling into the stepps (lol), and it seems to calm their vassals down a bit... But as I said give me your impressions

Mightus  [author] 29 Jan @ 6:03pm
I came up with an idea of adding negative war desire for ai to "governor" trait; I'm going to test it and it would be cool if it worked, cause mod like that would be super lightweight.
Potato Soup 29 Jan @ 3:10pm
Is it even possible to stop vassal wars at this point? No mod seems to work with administrative governments.
Mightus  [author] 29 Jan @ 12:40pm
Honestly, I don't know if it is possible, and if it is it would require altering quite a few files, making the mod waaay less compatible with others; so yeah, it is rather out of this mods scope, sorry.

Is there a way to have a game rule that makes it so that the AI Emperor will never change (at least the player's) theme administration type? I'd like to do a vassal-focused game and like that this mod restricts other AI vassals from bordergoring, but having some flexibility as a frontier vassal as the player to correct some of the AI liege's mistakes would ne nice
Mightus  [author] 7 Jan @ 2:25pm
Hey, it took some time, but I've added the game rule to disable admin vassal wars altogether; I'm sorry though, because I don't have time to test it fully, so let me know if something is wrong!
frederick 1 Jan @ 11:54am
thanks, i would greatly appreciate it!
Mightus  [author] 30 Dec, 2024 @ 1:23pm
I can add it, but I am busy right now, so maybe later
frederick 28 Dec, 2024 @ 7:55pm
is it possible to add an option so external admin vassal wars are disabled even at 0 authority?
MRKripo 15 Dec, 2024 @ 7:56am
Preaty sure this breaks Pervasive Crown Authority(Not 100% sure), because both mods overwrite declare_war_interaction from what I seen
buttsak 11 Dec, 2024 @ 4:40pm
maybe they think it prevents feudal vassals from declaring war too, which it doesn't, this mod only prevents administrative vassals if im correct
Mightus  [author] 3 Dec, 2024 @ 12:07pm
I honestly don't know how to fix that since I can't replicate this issue, and the code looks fine to me. If anyone have any idea what's wrong, be sure to write in the comments
Anchovy 2 Dec, 2024 @ 6:03pm
Mods on the bottom Ai still is able to declare wars despite frontiers not being assigned
Mightus  [author] 2 Dec, 2024 @ 3:16am
Hmm, I checked and the mod works fine for me... guys are you sure you don't use some incompatible mod? Try putting this mod at the bottom of your modlist and see if it works then
Anchovy 1 Dec, 2024 @ 4:51pm
update and ill give u a flintstone gummy vitamin
Mightus  [author] 28 Nov, 2024 @ 11:23am
Ok, I will look into it later, but as I said the mod is currently on a "duct tape", so it might not be so simple to fix...
Potato Soup 28 Nov, 2024 @ 10:30am
It happens regardless of authority law.
Mightus  [author] 28 Nov, 2024 @ 3:46am
Are you sure you don't have the lowest administrative authority law? You need it to have higher for war prevention to work.
Anchovy 27 Nov, 2024 @ 7:05pm
I think this mod is broken because none of my vassals have naval or frontier but still declared war
Mightus  [author] 27 Nov, 2024 @ 1:31am
Something like this is honestly beyond my modding abilities, and I am not even sure if possible :>
Anchovy 26 Nov, 2024 @ 9:08am
Kinda like creating a brand new duchy and creating custom kingdoms
Anchovy 26 Nov, 2024 @ 9:07am
it would be nice to have to have a automated button that auto appoints governors after they die.

The ability to create custom themes/provinces as the byzantine empire.
Cardolam 16 Nov, 2024 @ 9:18am
@Mightus

Understood, I am not playing as an administrrative realm, so no problem for me at all.

Thank you very much!
Mightus  [author] 16 Nov, 2024 @ 8:52am
Oh, I meant that I updated it in a rough manner, by disabling the administrative laws Paradox added, so that they don't conflict with my previous changes; which isn't ideal, because it leaves the empty tab in the realm screen (and editing interface is hard to figure out for me).
Cardolam 16 Nov, 2024 @ 8:37am
@Mightus

Thanks for the answer and the mod. I am not a native english speaker so I don't understand the expression this mod being a kind on a duct tape meaning in the context of CK3. Can you elaborate?

Thank you.
Mightus  [author] 16 Nov, 2024 @ 3:03am
Since the previous patch the mod is kinda on a duct tape, but I don't think the most recent patch changed anything in the affected files, so it should still work.
Cardolam 15 Nov, 2024 @ 6:12am
Is this mod updated to the latest version of the game (1.14)?
Espritviril`` 2 Nov, 2024 @ 1:52am
I thought just like you that this mod wasnt needed anymore since the vanilla update adding laws, but as others said, AI doesnt use those laws at all and byzantine bordergore happens like it used to.

So I'm adding this mod to my list back. It is still very much needed and I hope you keep updating it. Cheers :steamthis:
Mightus  [author] 27 Oct, 2024 @ 6:14am
I will make a quick, and rough, compatch by disabling the new admin laws; the mod should work as it worked before the patch, but admin laws tab will be empty. It isn't ideal though, so I will look into it when I have more time.
♕ Lord Kitty 27 Oct, 2024 @ 2:47am
Lad can you update the mod i'm tired to see my vassals trying to create the galactic empire by themselves.
Yog sothothothothothoth 23 Oct, 2024 @ 9:02am
If you do update it I’d really appreciate an option to just straight up stop the naval vassals from using their naval expansion cb, it creates really weird borders and ahistorical expansion.
KsH 23 Oct, 2024 @ 8:25am
In my game the AI emperor switched to frontier and vassal external war law the second he had enough prestige ...
Mightus  [author] 23 Oct, 2024 @ 7:34am
You may be right; I will play for a bit to see how it works, and I might update the mod if I deem it necessary.
[Ally GruntS]Adams L. Albert 23 Oct, 2024 @ 3:57am
not really though ,AI is default to use shitty law, so AI Byzantine still probably cause bordergore
Mightus  [author] 23 Oct, 2024 @ 1:59am
Hey, so paradox addressed most of the stuff this mod addresses with the recent patch; so this mod became rather redundant.
El Goonty ☯ 20 Oct, 2024 @ 8:59am
Thank you for this mod and the options offered, which really prevent the Byzantines from expanding too much and also from disappearing on their own. I use the Frontier type option and the vanilla civil wars. With the mod to prevent dissolving factions the empire is not melting away but also too busy with civil wars to expand. Thanks very much to the modders !! Without you guys,Paradox or Bethesda games would be very bland :steamhappy:
radziu93 19 Oct, 2024 @ 5:14am
I think something is still not quite right with the mod. I started with War Prevention 'Vanilla', but by defaut if have Absolute Autocracy law, vassals cannot decalre wars unless they have Frontier type Themes. Yet with this mod all vassals can still declare war with Absolute Autocracy active. So it would seem the rule of 'Vanilla' vassal war prevention overriders authority of Realm Laws.
Mightus  [author] 17 Oct, 2024 @ 1:13am
If I remember correctly, it should also affect non-admin vassals.
rusael 16 Oct, 2024 @ 6:07pm
Does this only effect Admin vassals in an Admin realm or Feudal/Clan vassals too?
Mightus  [author] 15 Oct, 2024 @ 7:46pm
Cool, thank you for the translation! I will add the link to it in the description
.Soeldner* 15 Oct, 2024 @ 1:49pm
And thank you very much for this wonderful simple and good modification

Hello Mightus,
I hope you don't mind that I translated your mod into German https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3349416502
