She also has over 400 voice lines that take a while to load and I kinda wish I could download a version where she's mute.
Sorry about the long delay for the patch, haha. I did add in some custom AI behaviour, but it may not be the best!
She might get some custom AI sooner or later like the Toads. At worst she'll at least get the improved base AI, but maybe Don will add some custom stuff too haha.

Hey, don't mean to come off as rude when I say this, but just dont play the character. There are PLENTY of other characters in this game that are way more "balanced" than her. Alot of us actully like how she plays. But i digress.
I know what you're replying to, but you're suddenly on a different character haha. From Pauline's comments to Amy.

Amy wasn't even updated, so no, haha. That's just the anti-cheapie catching the name "Ronald", nothing more.
With all that said, her anti-cheapie will become opt-in and less intrusive once we do update her again.
As of late we've wanted to do a bit more work on rune support, so I'm sure we could add some more to Amy sooner or later too, yeah!

I've been trying to brainstorm a few, maybe Neutral Special is taller to resemble her Tornado Hammer from Sonic Heroes? Unsure about Side Special, maybe a rune to extend its range to fly farther? Or maybe it can misfire like Luigi (not as rare, but not as powerful either), either that or it could be charged? Just a few ideas I had off the top of my head, I'll try to think up more xD
More runes is always nice! But probs not that (even if it would be very silly and canon) If anyone does feel like submitting rune ideas we'd love to hear them though haha
I like the idea behind strongs being risky if she misses, gives more reason to think about whether you wanna use them or not!
I understand your concern, I can promise you that we're not the type to continuously nerf a character haha. For Amy we felt some stuff could be toned down a bit as she is one of our stronger characters, but you don't have to worry about her getting nerfed all too much or anything.
With all that said, still really glad that you like the character!
Amy is one of our stronger characters, as she has many strengths (good speed, frame data, disjoints, kill power, etc) and not too many weaknesses, so she can be difficult to fight.
We will probably look into more ways to adjust her a little while keeping her fun to play haha.
Though with all that said, she has some weaknesses: Her recovery is very exploitable, as it's slow and if you pop the balloon twice then she won't be able to recover at all (she can mix up and use the tornado etc to help sometimes, though its limited).
She's also below average weight, and while her frame data is great for the range and power she has, it still isn't the fastest so it can be good to bait her and whiff punish if she misses an attack.
I think that's the best general advice I can give anyway, but Amy isn't broken or anything like that so hopefully it helps haha.
That is possible to do for the player as well, but it requires tapping down to fast fall during the hitpause from the hit so it's pretty difficult. It's mostly an oversight though, as hit-falling FSpecial is a bit janky so we'll probably remove that haha.
