Would you mind adding a version that removes this decision from every AI? Ideally compatible with AGOT.

Please, comment 32 and 33 line at decision modification file.
Thank you.

damn i'd like a mod that REMOVES this decision from the AI for my AGOT playthroughs. random AI counts in westeros giving up their lands for no reason takes me out of the game

I too wish to know if there's a mod for kings and 4+ domains. My situation has become so messy I just want to give it up and let someone else deal with it lol.
Joecool 24 Oct, 2024 @ 8:26pm
why is it restricted to counts & dukes and below 4 domain's?
WeWeKeNeMen 17 Oct, 2024 @ 2:20am
is there a mod for king and emperors too?

https://github.com/draeath/ck3_adventurer_decision I did my "own" version of this and it seems to be working just fine. Feel free to take this and fold it into your own mod here, if you wish. I'll keep my copy on github but I won't be uploading it to the workshop or the forum, etc.

This also gets rid of a bunch of the other restrictions. You can, as the Holy Roman Emperor, throw it all away if you wish. The only gotchas I left in place are: be an adult, not be imprisoned, not a house head of a noble family, not be head of faith, and not already be landless.

I also included all the localizations, not just English.

The AI should be unable to use this decision, so any AI behaviors regarding the built-in method should be entirely unchanged.

... or you can set ai_check_interval to 0 apparently:

"How many months to go between each check of this decision. Has to be set, except if ai_goal = yes is set. An interval of 0 means the AI will never check this decision"
draeath 14 Oct, 2024 @ 5:50pm
The better way to do it though, I think, would be to set ai_potential to "always = no"

I think you want to just set ai_will_do to a large static negative value. As it is now, there's essentially two dice rolls for this to happen, once with the cultural restrictions from 06_ep3_laamp_decisions.txt, and once with your custom event.

Ie, for those eligible to make this decision before now have an elevated chance to do so.

@sivrothic i dont know the faiths, but according to code it's a doctrine, regarding culture atleast the "Swords for Hire" from the Warfare tradition allows it.
Sivrothic 30 Sep, 2024 @ 8:50pm
do you know which cultures and faiths allow this in vanilla?
C4sp3R  [author] 30 Sep, 2024 @ 5:57am
the AI has the option to do it but the chance for them to take it is not high, as one of the developer comments in the decision states " ...everyone will leave your realm constantly "
Nero 30 Sep, 2024 @ 4:34am
does the AI use the decision at all?
NerazarPC 30 Sep, 2024 @ 4:01am
Very nice, will try it out!

I haven't seen one

In vanilla is it already available for catholic faith?
