When it downloads, it should show up, in you steam download tab, just like a gameupdate.
Maybe try restarting steam/ or your computer?
When the mod is downloaded, you should find a folder called: 3342143865 in this file path:
\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\494840
"Radio in 3D view"
in: Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\494840\3342143865\Assets\Radio you will find all the audio files. They are named after author, songname and year of release.
@JazzMano
There isn´t an real value you can change, to change the posibility of news. The only way to increase the chance for more news, is to create copys of the news files, so they are more of them in the folder. This way the chance gets higher, that one of them will play. You will find the files in the path I posted above. Search all countrys for a folder called "Broadcast". Copy/past all .ogg files to create a copy.
If you are still around, is it possible on the user side to change something to have less music and more feed news/commentating ?
Or having a in-game notification when there is news feed on one of the channel ? Thank you !
I intuit that you may be making the same error I did before I figured it out:
After Launching Uboat ((I do this through steam, not sure if that matters)) you will be greeted with the Uboat launcher window , where you normally then press "Play". At the bottom, next to the "News" button, is a " Mods " button , you will need to open this window and tell the launcher to turn the specific mods " ON. "
Compared to the vanilla radio, this is a big leap forward. Good as it is, this game really dose need lots of mods of this quality.
I'm impressed.
Maybe just for testing, only enable world war radio and start new game, just to see, if the radio stations load up correctly.
I was beginning to get really irritated with the same cuts of music playing over and over.
The same short cut of Wagner's masterpiece was beginning to tarnish my fondness for the composition... and if I hear "It's a Long way from Tipperary" any more I might get sick
Also, thank you for the instructions regarding alarm disrupting the music!
I recommend adding that as a note somewhere in the Description
[HarmonyPatch(typeof(SpeakerSystem))]
[HarmonyPatch("PlayerShipProxy_AlarmStarted")]
public static class SpeakerSystem_PlayerShipProxy_AlarmStarted_Patch
{
public static bool Prefix()
{
return false; // Überspringe die Originalmethode, damit die Musik nicht ausgeschaltet wird
}
}
Make sure you exactly only remove this 10 lines, with the last } standing. or you will brake the code.
Also… music stops when the operator goes to bed? Could that be fixed. Hate waking him up to turn the music back on and then sending him back to bed.
Thanks for the consideration!!

Subtitles for news/speeches probably not possible/too much work, right?
o7
But you can go into following folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\494840\3342143865\Assets\Radio
There is every track named by 1. Artist and 2. Songname
I was very pleased to have progressed thus far, and then....
the reload of the save point broke it. All the War Radio stations were missing.
Not to be undone, I'm like a dog with a bone!
New Game. Works perfectly. There is so much effort and work in this mod with tunes itemised and catagorised into regions and time frames. The ad breaks and news updates, takes the sub sim to a new level.
Very well done, and many thanks.
If you use the Datasheet Reload mod, you should be able to use this mod without a new game.
I dont know what "remove the three radio stations installed already" that means. If you use any other radio mods you should remove them before installing this one.
