As a tropical user, i`ve set wet season to be from 5 to 90o and dry/bad season to be from 5 to 50o. the sun moves sooooo weird when configured to be directly above!!

Thank, stopped sun rotating by player camera.

Sunflower rotation is bugged, similar like MazzoPowah told below. But happens on daytime too, until they jump back into position (at a certain time?). Looks like their rotation happens on a corner offset, instead in the middle ...

This mod appears to be doing a little more than merely rotating the sun. The lighting looks nicer as well, especially at night
AndrewMV 14 May @ 4:30pm
Obligatory mod.
How is it not like this in the vanilla game?
MazzoPowah 13 May @ 1:35am
There seems to be a bug with the sunflower rotation, at night the sunflowers stalk move outside of the tile they are planted on.
Except this minimal issue everything else works correctly, great mod.
Dumpshock 10 May @ 4:20am
Looks to be working again after today's update. No more crash.

Thank you for the update!

Sadly crashes the game in the April 23 update. Thank you so much for this mod. Truly essential.

Just wanted to drop my appreciation for this mod - it adds so much beauty and character to the game. I can't wait for U7 to go stable so I can re-add this gorgeous mod to my playlist.

@hytone ty, no rush, your work is appreciated, the mod is awesome
Hytone  [author] 17 Feb @ 6:23am
Yes. Cant say about experimental, but at least when U7 comes to stable this will be fixed
VforRevenge 17 Feb @ 2:37am
are you planning to update this for update 7?

Amazing! The vanilla game is gorgeous, but this... is a whole new level. The changing light colors throughout the day, the shadows in the morning and the evening, the reflections on the water at night... it adds so much more flavour and vibrancy to the visuals. It's the same old textures, but they get to shine in a completely new way. You gotta see this! <3

lmao i never realised the sun moved with the playercamera, this is awesome, makes the game much better looking and should be an option in the vanillagame.
Z'Ha'Dum 25 Oct, 2024 @ 1:05pm
Thank you so much.
AdvA7 12 Oct, 2024 @ 12:32am
Crazy this isn't implemented in base game. Kudos to you, mod maker.
Anthraax 11 Oct, 2024 @ 7:55am
This mod is exactly what I hoped it would be and fixes my only complaint with the lighting being locked to the camera. Shadows are cast by a fixed light source that stays in place as you rotate. It makes the day and night cycles look so much better and honestly should be the default behavior.
ItsMoon_Shadow 10 Oct, 2024 @ 11:30am
I personally don't mind the regular rotating sun. Made it feel like a god simulator >:P
(As if I was the sun)

What's amazing about this mod that I wasn't expecting is the fact that it makes timberborn look like it has shaders.

This mod is amazing! The shadows rotating with the player camera always felt so nauseating to me, thank you so much for making this!
Rune Trantor 9 Oct, 2024 @ 2:29pm
Thank you kindly!

Will report if anything happens.
Hytone  [author] 9 Oct, 2024 @ 3:17am
Thanks for the feedback! I have now uploaded a new version that hopefully performs better
Rune Trantor 7 Oct, 2024 @ 9:27am
@Almech Alfarion

Ah thank you! I was trying to figure which one was causing this stutter. I thought it was the production stat one since it felt like a potentially heavy on performance mod.

But yeah shame, its prettier to see the sun rotate and the water shine with this mod.
Almech Alfarion 6 Oct, 2024 @ 12:42pm
I love it, but had to disable it because it's causing a stutter every ~"hour" or so in the in-game day during daylight Night cycle is more or less fine. Not sure, but it might be how either the mod or game is trying to calculate and update the shadow directions.
Fank 6 Oct, 2024 @ 6:36am
This looks more like a bugfix to me, thank you very much for this.
It triggered me everytime I was rotating the camera.
