@ElyonHU Is it not working for you? So far as I can tell it works fine, the launcher screams out of date even if a mod is fine, it depends on the mod. Considering there are no other mentions or requests for updates it is likely the mod is still functioning as intended.

Land encounters is a really cool concept, there were a couple mods like this but were abandoned. My main question though is, do these respawn, at least the ones without amulets?

I think making a few respawnable locations like sea encounters but on land would be very cool.

So some people mention that the items are “weak” compared to the debuff. Some may think that some items are way too strong.
And yes, some items are quite strong. Range buff can make some ranged armies pretty good. Ward save is strong and there are some other really strong items imo.
But you have to do something for it and you should get a reward. And the other follower's in this game are pretty bad.

This mod will get an update in the future and maybe I will balance some items. Until then this mod will stay as it is.

BUT if anyone has any ideas for balancing or other things, let me know and I'll think about it.

I tried the mod on a SFO CO-OP campaign. It works well.
However, rewards are unbalanced. I got an amulet that gives %10 ward save for all army. That's OP. I had to salvage it.

i agree with stigro, the effects don't seem compelling with the diplomacy debuffs. but still a great mod.

while I love the concept the items are realllyyy underwhelming. Global diplo relations malus in exchange for a marginal buff to missile strength or range for JUST the army (from the two amulets i've seen) is just really bad. Unless there are better amulets to be found on the map somewhere not sure i'll be keeping this for my next campaign

I LOVE mods that add additional faction-agnostic to dos for the campaign! I remember a very similar mod - "land encounters" or smth, I think it was abandoned - that had the same idea but did it in a random spawn way like sea encounters. Have you thought about going that direction as well?

Okay guys, here's some information:
1) It should be savegame compatible (but doesn't guarantee everything will work)

2) I'm not sure how it works with IIE, so you'll have to try it out, sorry

3) I'm playing with Immortal Landmarks and it seems that everything works fine, so I think other landmark mods should work fine too

4) Also I'm working on some bug fixes and balancing stuff, update coming asap

5) I can't say anything about multiplayer as I don't test my mods in multiplayer

6 I hope you like the mod in its current state, but can't say when the next patch with new content will come

Added it to save game IEE and it seems to be working except with it enabled the names for the grand master sets are all blank. And the one battle I played against Tomb kings for the amulet had a empire character in the porthole pre and post battle
