i didnt even realize that it wasnt VTOL until after i made this comment, it wouldnt be very useful as a SAR plane lol

Could you do a rescue version of this with a wrench and medkits and such in the supply shelf, perhaps medical bed in place of the rear stowage

No, but if you want you could easily use one of the number buttons from the seat.

Is there a button to disable the front connector? It catches on the arrestor gears.
