I seriously wish that I was able to modely in that case XD I would LOVE to help out with the mod since I use and love it so much! Unfortunately I'll just have to patiently wait for you to have the time (and sanity) to working on it. Hopefully someone else can come along who can help out!

Thanks again for all the time you have put into the mod so far, it's absolutely fantastic and I've been using it in every playthrough I do

Renay Edor, I wanted to make a prototech and several other suits, but modding Space Engineers takes a lot of time. For this "simple" mod, I've invested hundrets of really exausting hours and I don't think that I will be able to bring big changes to this mod alone. So unless there is someone to model a male and female prototech suit, I don't think that there will be one in this mod anytime soon.

Question! Did you ever get around into looking at the "prototech" type suit? I remember you saying something about it but I can't remember what it was (and the comment was forever ago).

If you ever get around to making "addon" mods for this one, a compatibility patch with Better Resource would be AMAZING. I can give some recommendations based on my current play testing and how resources are acquired (space survival suit after lithium, and space suit requiring a bunch of advanced components).

Currently doesn't work in multiplayer, you don't have any suit when you spawn in space and everyone other than the host can't fly around in every direction other than "Up"

Would it be possible to make the survival mask a bit more hardcore? As I don't think you'd be able to survive in space with just a pair of goggles and a scuba tank. On planets with an atmosphere it should be fine though.

Found the problem: (Bug report)
Your mod Suit has a conflict with Ai Enabled Vanilla npcs
namely constantly appear characters in oxygen masks in different parts of the planet and because of this the game slows down.
I remember before such a strange conflict was not.
Please take into account.

Hey there, found the weirdest incompatibility. Using this mod together with AiEnabled and related mods causes spammed creature spawning and despawning at a random planet. This tanks the sim speed and also causes it to crash sometimes or unload unproperly. Tested on a clean world without plugin loader. Log keeps spamming "Entity Police_Bot is closed" as well as "Entity NoSuit_Male is closed". No related errors are shown in the log

Hello everyone,
I just uploaded a complete rewrite of the mod to set the grounds for multiplayer compatebility. I didn't test it in multiplayer so far, but it should work.
This rewrite also fixes all issues that you guys have reported, so it shouldn't cause any problems in singleplayer.

I sadly bring terrible no good awful news: BUG: It could be a mod conflict, but while this mod was active, my jetpack's inertia dampeners ("z" key) would not work, so my character could do nothing but drift lol

Hello great work i love this mod. Have one problem with a jet pack rework mod i have survival reborn to be specific. the mod isnt applying to the jet pack anymore. before the update to this mod the jetpack rebalance mod worked, would be great if you looked into this cause i love the idea of this mod

Zen, it seems you have the same issue as Sensei that is temporarily fixed for now by restoring a older version of this mod. Adding setting for admins also seems like a good idea, so I'll try to implement it with the next update.

Sensei, I'm gonna try to fix this bug asap, for now I will restore the old version of the mod since this issue renders the mod quite useless.
Last update to the mod introduced an infinite loop when you exit a seat or look at your inventory, the mod reacts to this action as if your character died (infinite death loop until your game or even your PC crashes). Kinda s*cks cuz I love this mod :)

I do not know why, but there is a bug when the first appearance of the character inventory is filled with oxygen masks or spacesuits. the bug disappears when you revive again, but already from the medical station.
Several times checked the presence of the bug in other worlds.
I would also like to ask you to add the ability to the administrator to disable the appearance of oxygen masks and spacesuits when reviving.

I'm briefly looking through this mod's source to see what's up with the kinda-deal-breaker "forgetting" bug that leads to the mod being basically never able to work on that savefile again; if I did manage to produce a fix, it'd help if the source were on GitHub so I could open a PR with fixes.

spEeDex, I will look into your and Command Beavers issue, but that the medical room doesn't let you change your suit is because of bugs occuring from changing the skin to another model.

Same as Commander Beaver here. Also no matter what suit, leaving a cockpit damages you. every. damn. time. also, this mod is dening me access to my medical rooms.

I removed the mod from my save game because i kept dying from sandstorms and couldn't make the O2 mask since i also have Industrial overhaul on. But now if i re-add the mod to my save it doesn't work, no items showing up in the mod compat assembler, still have my helmet/thrusters without any of the items and the commands like /setsuit and /listsuits also don't work, is this a known bug and if so, is there a workaround/fix for this?

I put it in my world, and No matter what I have equipped I still have the same suit on. Only up thrust on the jet pack too.

Yes I turned off the setting (Spawn with tools).
I wanted it to work for costumes on revival as well.

Hi,suggestions for the next update:
Playing with this mod I encountered an overabundance of extra suits and masks when reviving, at some point it became too much.
Can you add an option to disable the spawning of these two items: space survival suit and oxygen mask?
A sample command to chat for an admin with permissions is as follows:
/Suit spawn [off/on].
I realize this may cause problems with oxygenless spawn, but it doesn't have to be the default. I think it would also give these suits some use in development and at least some value. For hardcore survival it would work great.

Took me a moment to decode MEC abbreviation.
There are a lot of variables to change in the character file. Is difficult to get a good balance and not just have a really good suit that everyone goes straight to.

That's great to hear! I can't wait to see what other suits you add if any in the next update as well! I've used the "More Engineer Characters" mod, which adds five suits, one of which is the builder suit which is on par with your "Space Survival Suit" in terms of jetpack effectiveness, but has double the inventory size. The other suits in MEC do things like better oxygen efficiency, faster movement, and more health

Renay Edor, I've made the suit so expensive to make it an endgame item which is challenging to get. I think making the suit less expensive is a good idea, because if you want it to be hard to get, you can use a ore distribution mod like you do. So I will change it in the next update.

Suggestion: If you're planning on adding better suits (between default and this proposed "prototech" suit), would it be possible to rebalance the current suits? making the default one only need gold, and the better ones require platinum and/or uranium?

Currently i'm plaing with Vanilla Ore Distribution, and it changes ore locations. Gold is only found on moons, Silver can be found on moons and asteroids, but platinum can only be found on Mars, and uranium only exists on the Alien planet. Currently i have to wait until Mars to get the default suit, and I won't have gravity generators until the Alien planet when used along AQD Research Tree (grav gens require platinum and uranium to craft the final tier research)
