yeah same thing, those commands only work for loose files and ignore vpks entirely
the whole point of my voicemods is that you don't need to do all of the extra crap.

Generally in most cases you don't need to use the command snd_rebuildaudcache you need to instead use the command snd_updateaudiocache. Also I can do a decent Snake impression if that would be any use to you.

oh wait really?... well i mostly based my voicemod on a goldmine of mgs2 snake lines i found lying around the internet.

i don't really have access or know a publicly accessible way to get mgs3's raw voicelines

i don't really have time atm to sift through mgs3 gameplay to find specific those scenarios either, so do you mind if you can find those for me instead?

@Jo i saw that you said you couldn't find anything for laughing or coughing, but snake does do both in mgs3
when you throw a smoke grenade and stand in the smoke, snake will cough (only one sound effect of him coughing is used and repeated there, but you might be able to steal from the other mgs games if you want more variety)
and with laughing, there are a few moments where he laughs:
in the call with sigint where he talks about the "naked" camo, snake does a funny laugh at the end of the call
there's short chuckle right after eva removes the transmitter in snake
he laughs with eva when they barely make it after ocelot's final showdown

Yeah i couldn't really find anything to use for laughing as he isn't really the type of guy from what it seems
as for the coughing, yeah same reason as before couldn't really bother to pitchshift it too so i just made the coughing less frequent and called it a day lmao
